ELEANOR ROOSEVELT just started trials (pruebas de mar in Spanish).
Balearia highlights she is unique...
This is very true. But not because she is LNG powered, Buquebus FRANCISCO is also using LNG (but Turbine i/o engines) since 2013!

ELEANOR ROOSEVELT is not the fastest (35 knots) nor the biggest (125m) nor offering the highest capacity (1200 pax, 400 cars).

ELEANOR ROOSEVELT has something more. She is designed by Incat Crowther of Australia... But has not been delivered by an Australian yard....
And I think this is the very first time in 25 years this is happening.
INCAT and AUSTAL have scooped all orders of HSC Cats ever since Stena HSS class in 1997!

So definitely this is quite something.
There is rumour another sister could be ordered but so far just rumours...
