Happy Birthday to us. 🎂 One year ago, Mark and Maggie decided it would be a brilliant idea to start another business. Looking back, we're still not entirely sure whether it was a stroke of genius or temporary insanity.
Either way, here we are.
One year later, Two office moves later. Several thousand cuppas later, and a lot of client projects later, although not several thousand thanks goodness. And somehow, still talking to each other.
It's been a year full of brilliant clients, exciting projects, new friendships, lessons learned, ideas tested, ideas abandoned, ideas thrown in the bin, and ideas that have been picked out of the bin, then grown into something much bigger than we imagined twelve months ago.
The funny thing is, the DuoDot we're celebrating today isn't quite the same DuoDot that started out last June.
Over the last year we've learned more about what businesses really need, where we can make the biggest difference, and what gets us genuinely excited to jump out of bed in the morning.
As a result, we've got some exciting things coming.
A refreshed brand, some new services. And some ideas that we're really looking forward to sharing with you, once we have dusted off the banana peel!
For now though, we're taking five minutes to eat cake and celebrate making it through year one.
A huge thank you to every client, supporter, collaborator and friend who has been part of the journey so far.
We genuinely couldn't have done it without you.
