This artist’s impression shows a new £1 million active play facility for children of all ages, currently under construction at Lagoon Leisure Centre in Paisley.
Once complete, it will feature a TAG Active arena, where players can compete against friends to score points using wristband sensors that interact with lights throughout the climbing maze.
The arena will include tunnels, crawl spaces, a cargo-climbing maze, giant inflatable balls and climbing frames, creating a vibrant play space designed to promote fitness, fun and friendly competition.
A dedicated baby and toddler area will feature interactive toys, slides, ramps, dangly snakes, bash bags, balance boxes, giant building cubes and a range of other exciting equipment to keep little ones entertained. There will also be a free-play area with chutes, slides and climbing frames.
The facility will also support children with additional support needs through a dedicated sensory area featuring interactive panels, beanbags and mirrors, creating a colourful space for exploration and imagination.
A spacious seating area will give parents and carers a clear view of the main play zones while they enjoy the on-site café. The facility will also include a new party room for birthdays and other special events.
