One of the great things about being a freelancer is the variety - working with businesses, charities and organisations of all shapes and sizes.

Last month ticked a serious box when Scottish shoegaze/post-punk band Sun Shines Cold asked me to produce a video for their new single Betrayal. Being a massive fan of The Cure and Siouxsie and the Banshees, I really enjoyed the chance to get creative and put together a properly dark, gothic style video for them.

I hope I did them justice - The single is brilliant and is taken from their upcoming album Light Fades into Ruins, out on the 1991 Recordings label this summer.

Ending the year with a project that I loved being a part of.

I produced this European video for Resideo, telling the story of their partnership with Habitat for Humanity International and their first build in Hungary - part of a wider global responsibility strategy.

(Yes, I'm persisting with the lower case capitals, but no, I’m definitely keeping all the vowels!)

I’ve just ordered my first print run of postcards and greetings cards using some of the images I’m consistently spamming my social media accounts with.

I got my first order this morning from a cafe (very exciting!) and am hoping to sell more in local shops and businesses as well as online. (If I’m unsuccessful, people I know are going to be getting the same birthday card for several years to come!)
