The street running parallel to our premises in Peebles is the historic Biggiesknowe, birthplace of Publishers William and Robert Chambers (as in the Dictionary). One of the residents has make a colourful display on the banks of the Cuddy Water side, which joins the River Tweed in a few hundred yards. The white house in the background is the Chambers house dating back to 1796.

I know we are a Print company, but we do like our Rugby.
Our shop window display celebrates the British & Irish Lions rugby team currently touring South Africa and also looks back at the 1955 tour which was also to South Africa.
The Lions and South Africa jerseys are originals from 1955 belonging to my late Uncle Hugh F. McLeod, Hawick RFC who toured South Africa with the Lions back then.
The poster on the left shows two Scottish Border Lions, Stuart Hogg and Rory Sutherland both former Hawick RFC players and Hugh McLeod in action during the 1955 tour.
The poster on the right shows photographs and memorabilia from the 1955 tour belonging to the McLeod family.
The Lions commemorative cap is for Lion #372 Hugh F. McLeod
