Who would you love to have one more photograph with? ❤️

It’s a difficult question, but it’s one that reminds us just how important photographs really are.

Most photos aren’t valuable because they’re perfect.
They’re valuable because of who’s in them.

The way your child looked before they grew up.
The smile your grandparents always had.
The family moments that felt completely ordinary at the time.

Life moves quickly. Children change. Parents get older. Grandchildren grow up. And before we realise it, years have passed.

We often put off booking a family photoshoot because there’s always something else to do first. But one day, those photos become some of the most treasured things we own.

A portrait session isn’t really about today.
It’s about creating memories you’ll still be grateful for years from now.

We’re opening the studio this weekend for family and individual portraits, cutting the price to just £50 for individual shoots, and £75 for families of up to 5 people.

Nearly 10 years ago, the first big project i worked on was for Phoenix Bowl - rebranding it with a modern, dynamic logo which could take it forward to grow and keep welcoming families for years to come. Unfortunately, it wasn’t used much… until now.

Toby and the team have done wonders at Phoenix Bowl since taking it over, and it’s amazing to see it all finally coming to life how I imagined it would ❤️🧡💛

Artemys has been named Portrait Photographer of the Year for Pembrokeshire at the Prestige Awards ✨

I’m really pleased to receive the recognition, and grateful to be considered alongside so many other truly talented creatives in the area.

For me, it’s always been about the work and the art - creating portraits that feel natural, considered, and true to the people in front of the camera who trust me with their time and vulnerability, and this is what I’ll continue to focus on throughout this year and beyond.

A big thank you to everyone who’s trusted me to capture their story, and supported me along the way ❤️

It’s nice for people to know the face behind the camera, so figured I’d post a little bit about myself!

Hi, I’m Nate 👋🏻 the person you’ll see behind the camera for every single shoot. I’m one very passionate, creative person who loves to take photos and capture the real, authentic you ✨ I LOVE shooting black and white.

I bought my first DSLR all the way back in 2009, inspired by my late grandfather who always used to be snapping away when we were kids. Unfortunately, he’s the one person I never got to take a photo of myself, but I’m sure he’d be proud to see where I am, and where I’m heading.

I shoot on a Sony A7R IV, a 61MP mirrorless camera which helps me to make sure every final detail is crisp and sharp, something I pride myself on. It isn’t always easy, with kids going 100mph, but it’s super rewarding.

I have a YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/natewarlow, where over the coming months and years I’ll be adding videos about equipment, tips and tricks, and my adventures far and wide, camera in hand.

This - Artemys - is my little studio, set up to help me do exactly what I love to do - capture moments in time, because when the memory has gone, and our time has passed, these are things to keep us, our memories and our moments alive.

I take bookings for portraits, weddings, cake smashes, corporate stock imagery and property interiors and exteriors, with 4K video and drone part of a huge range of tools at my disposal.
