I popped into Tesco between clients the other day and somehow came home with this fabulous pineapple glass.

Did I need it? No.

Did I love it immediately? Yes.

One of the things I don’t think people expect from a style analysis is how much easier it makes everyday decisions. Once you understand your style, you start recognising the things that genuinely appeal to you rather than being swayed by trends or what everyone else is buying.

Whether it’s clothes, accessories, glasses or even homeware, you become much more confident in your choices.

Less second guessing. More knowing.

And that’s exactly how I felt when I spotted this pineapple glass.

If you love it as much as I do, drop a ❤️ below and let me know I’m not alone.

One of the first things I ask clients when they come for their colour analysis is what season they think they are.

Most people have a guess. Some are right. Many are not.

One of the biggest misconceptions about colour analysis is that it’s determined by hair colour. Blonde equals Spring. Brown hair equals Autumn. Dark hair equals Winter.

The reality is much more interesting than that.

Your season is determined by how colours interact with your skin, eyes and natural colouring as a whole. That’s why so many people are surprised by their result.

And that’s one of my favourite parts of the process. Seeing someone discover colours they would never have chosen for themselves and watching their reaction when they see the difference.

If you’ve ever wondered what season you are, I’ll be talking all about colour analysis at my free Colour Discovery Session tomorrow evening.

Every week I meet women who tell me they don’t really know what suits them anymore.

They have wardrobes full of clothes but still find themselves standing in front of them wondering what to wear. They buy things they like, but never quite feel right in them. They stick to the same colours because they know they’re safe.

If you’ve ever felt like that, I’d love you to join me on Tuesday evening.

I’m hosting a free online Colour Discovery Session where I’ll explain what colour analysis is, how it works, and why it can make such a difference to your confidence, shopping and everyday wardrobe choices.

It’s completely free, very relaxed, and a great opportunity to find out more.

Life’s too short to save the good clothes.

I think most of us have something hanging in the wardrobe that’s being kept for best. A dress we love, a beautiful top, a gorgeous jacket, all waiting for the perfect occasion.

But what if the perfect occasion doesn’t need to be a wedding, a party or a holiday? What if it could simply be a Tuesday?

Over the years, I’ve become a big believer in wearing the things you love. Life is made up of ordinary days and those days deserve a little bit of colour and joy too. Whether it’s meeting a friend for coffee, heading out for lunch, or simply popping to the shops, if an outfit makes you feel good, wear it.

Don’t wait for a special occasion. Sometimes the occasion is simply getting to enjoy the clothes you love.

Happy Friday everyone 💛

I've had lots of Summers in the studio recently and it's reminded me of one of the biggest myths about colour analysis.

Many people assume their season is determined by their hair colour. Blonde equals Spring. Brown hair equals Autumn. Dark hair equals Winter.

The reality is much more interesting than that.

Your season isn't based on one feature. It's based on how colours work with your skin, eyes and natural colouring as a whole. Hair colour is just one part of the picture.

These two lovely ladies are both Summers and they're a great reminder that colour analysis is about much more than simply looking at someone's hair.

That's why so many people are surprised by their result. What matters is the complete picture and how different colours interact with your natural colouring.

I think one of the saddest things I hear from women is that they've stopped expecting to feel good in their clothes.

They've accepted that shopping is frustrating. That changing room mirrors are awful. That getting dressed is just something to get through rather than something to enjoy.

And yet, when we were younger, most of us loved experimenting with clothes. We enjoyed expressing ourselves. We had fun with it.

Somewhere along the way, life got busy. Other people became the priority. And many women quietly stopped investing time and energy in themselves.

So here's your Sunday night reminder.

You deserve to feel good in your clothes.

Not because anyone else is looking. Not because you've reached a certain weight or age. Not because you've "earned" it.

Just because you're worth the effort.

My daughter surprised me with this picture this week and I have to admit, it made me smile.

Apparently, in her eyes, I'm a Disney princess.

Now, I can assure you there are very few princess moments in my day-to-day life. Most days involve work, washing, walking the dogs, wondering what's for dinner, and trying to remember why I walked into a room.

But what I love about this picture is that it reminds me how our children see us. They don't notice the things we pick apart about ourselves. They don't see the bad hair days, the wrinkles, or the things we'd like to change.

They just see us.

And sometimes that's a lovely reminder to be a little kinder to ourselves.

Has one of your children ever said or done something that completely melted your heart?

You may have seen Halara appearing all over Facebook and Instagram and wondered whether it’s worth the hype.

Well, I’m a fan!

This tangerine orange jumpsuit has quickly become one of my favourite pieces. The colour is gorgeous and right up my street, but what really sold it to me was the comfort. I love clothes that look good but still allow me to move and feel relaxed throughout the day.

Their jeans deserve a special mention too. As someone who likes a bit of stretch in her clothes, they’re brilliant. They have all the comfort of joggers but with the look of a jean, which is pretty much the dream combination as far as I’m concerned.

I also love the range of colours and styles they offer. Whether your style is classic, feminine, relaxed, quirky, or somewhere in between, there are lots of options to choose from.

Have you tried Halara? I’d love to know what you think.

One of my favourite things is seeing clients take what they've learned in their colour analysis and immediately start putting it into practice.

This lovely Winter recently sent me this photo wearing one of her fabulous reds after her analysis. Looking at her, it's easy to see why I love what I do.

The difference isn't just the colour itself. It's the confidence that comes from knowing. Knowing which colours bring your skin to life. Knowing which shades make your eyes sparkle. Knowing what to reach for when you're shopping instead of hoping for the best.

So many women think colour analysis is about rules. It isn't. It's about replacing uncertainty with confidence.

Knowing is the key to glowing.
