We always try to give a little back if we can, so around 18 months ago, we bought a Yamaha AG100 motorcycle for one of the programmes supported by Two Wheels for Life in The Gambia.
This is ‘our’ Yamaha AG100 now providing valuable healthcare in some of the most remote regions of Africa, filmed here in Sifor village in Gambia, and ridden for the first time by health worker Basiru Tambajang last week.
The Riders for Health motorcycle fleets in The Gambia, Malawi, Nigeria and Lesotho are ageing. With many vehicles running past their five-year optimum lifespan. Two Wheels for Life are working to renew fleets and need your help.
By gifting a motorcycle, you’ll be ensuring health workers can continue to deliver life-saving healthcare to hard-to-reach and vulnerable communities.
