May Wrapped...📸

A snapshot of what the Hummingbirds have been up to this month, balancing work, life and everything in between.

1. A trip to see, feed and groom some Highland cows.
2. Lauren celebrated her birthday which meant a rainbow birthday cake in the office
3. A team lunch at Cosy Club. A very welcome break from the desks.
4. The monthly office quiz returned, this time hosted by Courtney with a quiz through the decades.
5. Book club’s latest read was Woman Down by Colleen Hoover. Safe to say there were plenty of twists.
6. Nathan kept active this month with a 130-mile round biking trip to Hunstanton to camp, followed by hiking adventures in the Lake District.
7. A client content shoot saw Mel getting all the angles... including climbing into a wardrobe to get the shot.
8. Emily spent her bank holiday weekend reading, watching football, gardening and spending time with her dogs.
9. Daisy's May highlights included seeing Highland cows, horse riding, a trip to the races and hosting friends.
10. For Courtney, May consisted of dog sitting, afternoon tea, reading and celebratory flowers.
11. Lots of steps, sunshine and fresh air for Mel this month.

A month of sky-high temperatures, warmer evenings and everyone suddenly remembering how nice the UK is in the sunshine ☀️

Meet Nathan, our Senior Designer! 🚴🍕🍺⛰️

Unlike most of the team, Nathan doesn’t have a furry friend taking over his camera roll. Instead, it’s mostly bikes, mountain views and the occasional pizza.

If he’s not in the office, there’s a good chance he’s out making the most of the fresh air and lighter evenings on two wheels.

His favourite holiday spot is Morzine in the French Alps, which probably tells you everything you need to know about his ideal trip.

Favourite drink? A crisp beer in the sun.

Favourite food? Pizza. Mainly because, in Nathan’s words, “it’s so versatile.” Fair point.

I’m sure you’ve already seen Instagram’s new *Instants* feature… but if not, here’s what you need to know 👀

Instagram has officially rolled out Instants globally after testing it in select countries. Adam Mosseri, Head of Instagram, has said people aren’t posting to the main feed as much anymore, and this feels like Instagram leaning further into more casual, authentic sharing.

You can find Instants in the DM tab, photos disappear once viewed, there’s no viewer list, and reactions and replies stay private.

So… what do we think? A good move from Instagram or another feature we didn’t ask for? 💭

April Wrapped...📸

A snapshot of what the Hummingbirds have been up to this month, balancing work, life and everything in between.

1. A team lunch at Paten & Co.
2. Book club returned with another thriller. This time Beautiful Ugly by Alice Feeney.
3. Punting & brunch in Cambridge on a beautiful spring day. Pimm’s flowing, of course.
4. Emily celebrated her birthday. Everyone knows she loves flowers.
5. Tom and Mick was out and about working on client projects… here’s a clue. 🏁🏎️
6. Lauren had the privilege of seeing Olivia Dean in concert in Manchester.
7. Michael celebrated the big 40 in London.
8. Mel made the most of the lighter evenings completing couch to 5K and spending time with her pets.
9. Kieren’s furry friend, Nelly, turned two.
10. Daisy made the most of the bank holiday weekend. Matcha in hand, a wedding thrown in, Aperol spritz flowing, and an Easter roast to finish.
11. Nathan has been making the most of the lighter evenings out on his bike.
12. Emily also got out for a hike in the Peak District.
13. Courtney’s bank holiday was well spent. An Easter meal with family, lunch out, book shopping and, of course, a wine or two.

A brighter month, plenty of sunshine, and lots going on in and out of the office.
