A lovely client has reported another of the newly set up scams purporting to be from me telling clients that there are issues with their sites and I can fix them for ÂŁ300....

This idiot isn't quite as meticulous with his fake gmail account as t appears he can't spell 'services' correctly.

As ever, if you receive anything pretending to be from me/us then please report, forward to me and delete.

Having tried digger driving I was pleased to be back at my desk and doing what I love - launching new websites for lovely clients. The T Word

The latest is the blog for The T Word - this includes a clean homepage showcasing her latest blog along with information on the families journey with childhood cancer together with caring living for a child with additional needs - a subject very close to my heart. Zoe has been instructed on how to add her fabulous bogs and we integrated SubStack on the website so she can keep you all notified.

Wishing Zoe all the very best going forward, we have subscribed and will be looking forward to your posts.

We are delighted to share this year’s Gift of the Gab charity website, created for the wonderful Chanctonbury Community Playscheme (CCPS).
CCPS

Each year, we choose a charity or community organisation and donate our time to create a new website for them. When CCPS approached us about creating their new website, we were delighted to be able to offer this as our charity website for the year.

SEND and the support available to children, young people and their families is something very close to our hearts, so it was a real honour to be able to do this for such a fantastic local charity.

Chanctonbury Community Playscheme is a volunteer-led registered charity based in Worthing, supporting children and young people aged 5–18 with additional needs and an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

For almost 50 years, CCPS has been providing a safe, inclusive and welcoming summer playscheme where children and young people can have fun, make friends, build confidence and enjoy everything from activities and swimming to trips and themed days.

They support around 100 children and young people each summer, while also providing invaluable respite for parents and carers. The playscheme is supported by an incredible team of teenage helpers and experienced adult volunteers, with 1:1 and 2:1 support available where needed.

It costs more than ÂŁ50,000 every year to run CCPS, so fundraising, donations and volunteers are absolutely vital to keeping this wonderful scheme going.

We hope their new website helps CCPS continue to reach local families, attract volunteers, raise vital funds and share the amazing work they do.

With scammers out there becoming more convincing every day, it’s important to stay cautious online. A few simple checks can help keep your accounts, information and money safe. Here are a few tips to help:

1. Check the sender
Always look carefully at the email address or phone number a message has come from. Scammers can make messages look very convincing, so check the details rather than relying on the name shown.

2. Be careful with links
Don’t click links in unexpected emails or messages. If you’re unsure, go directly to the company’s official website instead of using the link provided.

3. Never rush a payment
Be especially careful if someone is asking you to transfer money urgently, change bank details or make a payment you weren't expecting. Stop and independently check the request before sending anything.

4. Don’t share sensitive information
Never give out passwords, PINs, security codes or other sensitive information because someone has asked for them unexpectedly.

5. Use strong, unique passwords
Try not to use the same password across different accounts. A password manager can help you create and store strong passwords.

6. Turn on two-factor authentication

Another website launch we're really proud of. Agincourt Partners Ltd

This one was a little different. We built the new Agincourt Partners website as a completely bespoke project, with the focus on making a complex range of cybersecurity services much clearer and easier for potential clients to understand.

Agincourt Partners work with UK SMEs across cybersecurity, risk management, managed security, Cyber Essentials, disaster recovery and more, so one of the key challenges was creating a structure that could clearly communicate everything they offer without overwhelming visitors.

The finished website includes:

A completely bespoke design and build
Clear, structured service and solution sections
Dedicated information around Cyber Essentials
A professional, trustworthy design suited to the cybersecurity industry
Responsive layouts across mobile, tablet and desktop
Clear calls to action and consultation enquiries
An easy-to-manage blog, allowing the Agincourt Partners team to regularly add new insights and articles themselves
A structure designed to make a wide range of technical services much easier to navigate
We also wanted the website to give Agincourt Partners the flexibility to keep building on their online presence, rather than creating something that would need a developer every time they wanted to publish a new article.

It's always great to see a bespoke build come together, particularly when the finished website isn't just about how it looks, but about making a business's services clearer, more accessible and easier to engage with.

We're really pleased with the finished result.

Holiday Mode Activated!
Hannah is currently away on annual leave for a well-deserved break. In the meantime, I (Maddie) will be here to ensure everything continues to run smoothly while she’s away.
