🔥 No, we are not closed and we don't have to due to making money in the online space. 🔥

But we certainly would be if we were a physical business and we were told too in line with COVID19 guidelines

I had physical businesses for 15 years, I would be lying if I said that I wasn't creative in some of the ways I got around certain restrictions to generate business.

Having said this I have never broken the law because I have the most utmost respect for it. Without laws and regulations, the country would be in a very poor state.

Earlier today I saw a local cafe open and serving customers within their premises. The previous day they had been hit with a £200 fine and a notice for the council. Despite this, they are still open today and serving customers within their premises.

I encourage people to be creative in their businesses, as a business owner this a massive part of what we love to do. Having the freedom to think outside the box

🤮However, for me, this doesn't mean that you can go against government guidelines. These guidelines have been put in place to keep people safe, prevent infection, and ultimately get us to a place where we can return to our day to day lives.

I know that businesses are being hit hard during the lockdown and this is placing people's livelihoods at risk. As business owners, we have a moral duty to keep our communities and customers safe.

Everyone has their own personal views on COVID19 and the restrictions. Sometimes you have to put your own personal views aside to look out for others, no matter how strong these views may be. Those that are not doing this in my eyes should not be in business.

🎯As business owners, we need to be exploiting technologies, services, and partnerships to get our products to customers. For me, this is the fun part of being an entrepreneur.

Those businesses that have been forward-thinking in taking their physical businesses online and offering deliveries are the ones that will be here for the long term.

🏆We need to celebrate the small wins to see that we progressing against our most ambitious goal!

🎯Many of us are focusing on a large goal we want to achieve in business, Sometimes it's easy to get very disillusioned due to challenges or we deem things are not moving forward quickly enough.

🔥One thing that has really helped me in my business is to celebrate the small wins and remind myself that every small win celebrated is a step closer to my desired goal. This reinforces that you are making progress and you are gaining traction against the wider aim.

🤑I put in milestones in a place like

1) Achieve my first commission ever promoting a product

2) Achieve my first upsell on autopilot

3) Achieve my first £100 sale

4) Achieve my first £1000 sale

5) Achieve my first £5000 month

Hopefully, you get the idea! Take time to celebrate the smaller wins, It reinforces that you are growing, you are achieving and more importantly, you are heading towards your ultimate goal.

🔥Life by Design.....?🔥

⭐️In my previous post, I talked you through generating a vision board, I mentioned a precursory exercise called life by design which helps you define and visualize the things you want in life.

Life by design is a process where you price up all the things you want in life.

I really enjoy doing this exercise as it helps you define the monthly total you need to aim for to facilitate all the things on your vision board turning into reality.

This exercise requires you to do a little bit of window shopping which I love doing......!

🏠I would start thinking about where I want to live, what area do I want to live in? How many bedrooms will you have? How many reception rooms? Will it have a big open kitchen? will you have a large garden? what road does the house sit on?

Once you have answered these types of questions you can then do a bit of research to find out how much this will cost you.

💰You can use free mortgage calculators to determine how much it will cost you each month.

If you want the property to have an extension or a bespoke kitchen factor these costs in. Think about the bills that will come with the house. If the house is twice the size of your current house double your current bills to provide a guide.

If there are certain vehicles you would like to own research the cars purchase price, the tax per year. servicing costs, insurance costs, etc.

🏖Repeat the same process with other things you would like to purchase or have in life, it could be a worldwide cruise, pilot lessons, holidays, a full-time chef....! The only limitations are the ones you create.

You will want to think about the money you want to put away in savings or the money you need to make each month for your partner to give up the job they hate!!

😍Whatever you want in life! research the associated costs and add these costs up so you have a monthly figure you want to earn a month.

🎯When you have completed this exercise it provides confirmation of what your target income needs to be. It sets a clear benchmark in your own mind of what you need to do to achieve the life you want moving forward.

🔥 Have you ever created a vision board......?

🏆 Many of my entrepreneur friends have sworn by vision boards and have said that it's this tool that has helped them realize their goals. They continually update their visual boards to obtain all the things they want from life as they tick things off.

🎯Vision Boards are designed to lay out what you want your life to look like moving forward.

👌Vision boards can outline material things that you would like to own moving forward, but they can also include experiences you want to realize and represent the way you want life to be. The vision board provides an active reminder for you to keep up the momentum to achieve success to bring each vision to reality.

😍I complete an exercise called 'life design' before creating my vision board. This is a really fun exercise where I price up all the things I would like in life so I have a tangible figure to aim for. I will go into this a little bit more in my next post.

⭐️You can see that I have the house I would like to buy (including a large kitchen), the cars that I would like to own, a six week holiday each year, the view from my second property, a personal registration plate I have always wanted to own, a professional snooker table and the monthly amount I aim to bring in each month.

🤑I created the vision board in PowerPoint and then saved it into an image format. I then have it as my desktop image on my computer so I can see it when I'm working. It pushes me to continue to work hard.
