Another day, another scam email. This time, we're receiving multiple enquiries about a Facebook message received that threatens deletions of a page for infringing trademark rights. This is a scam / phishing message and can be safely ignored

Urgent Security Warning: We're receiving multiple reports from our clients regarding a very realistic looking scam email that is currently doing the rounds.

With the subject "Urgent: Vulnerability detected - Your website [...] is at risk!", the email encourages the site owner to download, install and activate a WordPress plugin to install the security patch CVE-2024-46188 - See the screenshot.

This is a scam, and under no circumstances should you install the plugin! Installing this plugin WILL place malware on your WordPress website!
