Everyone has the same three basic needs.

Ecommerce store owners just have one more.

If BFCM is a priority this year, don't start planning in November.

Our BFCM Revenue Kit is packed with the campaigns, timelines, checklists and ideas we use to prepare brands for their biggest quarter.

Today, Southsea became our ecommerce strategy room.

The Enviary Roadshow is built on a simple belief: useful commercial insight should not be confined to boardrooms, dashboards or scheduled calls. Sometimes the most valuable conversations begin where business is already happening.

Aaron explains what we’re examining with brands on the ground today, and why BFCM readiness needs to go far beyond a campaign calendar.

If you see the green Enviary flags, come and say hello.

Your competitor confirmed their Q4 build.
here's what's already in their BFCM strategy and why it matters:
Their list has been growing since July. That means by black friday, they have 4 extra months of warm, engaged subscribers you don't have.
Their top customers are already identified and segmented. They're not blasting their whole list on November 27th. They're sending the right offer to the right person at the right time.
Their best customers will buy 48 hours before the sale even opens. The easiest revenue of the season, captured before the inbox gets loud.
Their BFCM emails are already planned. While your team is still debating.
Their sending domain is warmed and trusted.
SMS is capturing subscribers right now. Every visitor who doesn't buy is getting a second chance via a channel with 98% open rates.
And every abandoned cart is being followed up automatically. No revenue leaking out the back while they're focused on the front.
This isn't magic. It's just time. Brands who start in August walk into BFCM ready. Brands who start in October walk in panicking.
September 30th is the last day to build all of this before Q4 begins.
We build all of this for ecommerce brands in one go - before October 1.

The only +4 worth chasing this quarter.
Not another metric.
Not another dashboard screenshot.
Just ecommerce brands getting better prepared for Q4.
That's why we built the BFCM Revenue Kit.
It's the exact resource we'd hand to any brand before Q4 planning starts.

Revenue compounds.

Panic doesn't.

Every subscriber you collect today...

Has the chance to buy three months from now.

Every automation you launch today...

Can generate revenue hundreds of times before the year ends.

Every campaign you test today...

Makes the next campaign better.

That's why revenue curves don't suddenly spike on Black Friday.

They accelerate because of everything that came before it.

Businesses don't grow because one weekend was incredible.

They grow because of hundreds of small decisions stacked together.

That's what compounding looks like.

Brands think they're competing on discounts.
They're not.
They're competing for attention.
During BFCM, your customer's inbox becomes a battlefield.
10% off.
20% off.
last chance.
ends tonight.
extended.
final hours.
After the first 20 emails...
they all look the same.
The brands that win aren't always the ones with the biggest discount.
They're the ones customers actually remember.
That starts long before Black Friday-Cyber Monday.
Build familiarity.
Build trust.
Build anticipation.
Because when everyone is shouting...
the brand people recognise is the one whose email gets opened.

Ecommerce acquisition usually waits for intent to appear as a search, click or form submission.

But what happens when the next generation of merchants is not searching because the ecommerce ecosystem has not reached them yet?

Across Poole and Bournemouth, the Enviary Roadshow generated:

→ 120+ direct conversations with traders and local businesses
→ 67+ live ecommerce health checks
→ 77% migration intent among recorded responses
→ 7 in 10 wanting a more sophisticated ecommerce setup

These are directional field observations rather than representative market research but the pattern was remarkably consistent.

Many businesses were already selling through physical markets, mail order, social media and WordPress/WooCommerce. They had products, customers and ambition. What they lacked was a visible route into more sophisticated ecommerce growth.

Very few traders we spoke with were familiar with . Some had never heard the name.

At our Bournemouth stop, none of the traders we asked recognised .

Mailchimp was familiar, while awareness of , and the wider lifecycle ecosystem remained limited.

This is not resistance to technology.

It is a reach problem.

The ecommerce industry often assumes merchants will discover the right platforms. Our early roadshow evidence suggests the platforms may need to discover the merchants.

Among the many perspectives that shaped the roadshow were conversations with businesses including Gifts, .Samuel and .cloud 9 Clothing. Thank you for sharing the realities of trading and growth and for the interest in preparing for BFCM with Enviary’s BFCM Revenue Kit.

Two towns completed. One increasingly clear market signal.

Next stop: Portsmouth - 5 September.

The biggest mistake brands make every year isn't a bad offer.
It's believing they still have time.
Because Black Friday and Cyber Monday (BFCM) isn't a single weekend.
It's the result of everything that happens before it.
the list you grew.
the customers you re-engaged.
the flows you built.
the campaigns you tested.
the audience you warmed.
When November arrives, you're not preparing anymore.
You're executing.
The brands that look "lucky" in Q4 usually just started earlier.

Ecommerce growth shouldn’t live only inside dashboards, decks and Zoom calls. So we’re taking it on the road.

Tomorrow, the Enviary Roadshow arrives in Bournemouth; meeting traders, founders and independent businesses face to face.

Run an online store? Bring us your URL.

In 10 minutes, we’ll examine where customers may be hesitating, where lifecycle journeys fall silent and where the clearest growth opportunities could be hiding.

You’ll leave with a complimentary Ecommerce Growth Snapshot and a sharper view of what to prioritise next.

Have a great product but haven’t taken it online yet? Come and talk to us too. We’ll help you think through the right first step.

No stage. No sales deck. Just commercially focused conversations about growth.
