Paid ads wonât fix a bad website.
Something weâre quite firm on at EvoMARK is that we wonât start running paid ads for a client if we donât think their website is ready for them.
You could have a great Google Ads campaign, targeting exactly the right people, but if youâre then sending them to a slow or confusing website that doesnât make it easy to enquire, youâre wasting a chunk of that budget.
Sometimes weâll speak to a business thatâs ready to put ÂŁ500, ÂŁ1,000+ a month into Google Ads and our advice is actually to hold off and sort the website first.
That might mean improving the messaging, making the enquiry process easier, sorting the mobile experience or simply making sure everything is being tracked properly.
Once weâre happy the website has a good chance of turning that traffic into genuine enquiries, then it makes sense to start paying to send people there.
Itâs not about getting an Ads account live as quickly as possible. Itâs about making sure the whole journey works.
Get the foundations right first, then spend the money driving people to them.
