This month, our theme is all about water. The children learnt that the clouds are made of water droplets, and as the droplets grow and get heavy, they start to rain, making puddles. They learnt that rain water is needed to help the trees and plants grow big and healthy. They also learnt that if we have a little sun as well, we can get beautiful rainbows 🌈

And that’s a wrap for another year. It’s been lovely watching all the little ones grow and develop, and sad saying good bye to big ones going off to school. I’ve welcomed lovely new ones and they’ve settled beautifully. I’d like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and an amazing new year x

With all this beautiful weather at the moment, it’s really important to watch out for heat stroke and heat exhaustion, especially in little ones and the elderly. We’re having lots of shady, water play and ice lollies to keep cool and please everyone, remember to keep fluids up today, better to have 10 trips to the toilet then an ambulance ride to a and e, stay safe and enjoy the weather 🌞
