Here goes... after almost 7 fantastic years running my business, the time has come to say goodbye.

I am delighted to say my talented team will be taking on new roles at with Louise Seager and her wonderful team. I have no doubt they will flourish with her guidance and support.

I'm also pleased that so many of Octima's brilliant clients have chosen, on our recommendation, to make the transition as well.

As for me? Well if you don't already know, you'll probably notice a change in my social output soon enough!

To all the customers, suppliers, coaches, mentors, networking connections and friends who have been a part of the journey - I thank you.

Personalisation in marketing - what are your thoughts? 💭

Marketing efforts are becoming more and more personalised as technology and insights evolve. In fact, you may be hard pushed to speak to a marketing team without the word 'personalisation' cropping up, which is no surprise seeing as it was the Word of the Year 2019.

But we recently read an article about how personalisation in marketing is 𝗔. impossible, and 𝗕. useless. It claimed that third party data is entirely unreliable and that tailoring marketing to one person's taste is impossible. So rather than personalising marketing, marketers should be creating highly relatable content instead.
