Earth - The One And Only

The inspiration behind this print was simple. The planet is dying. Pollution is ruining our planet. Our oceans are dying. Animals are going extinct. Eco systems are being destroyed.

Earth is the one and only if it’s kind. There is no Earth 2.0. There isn’t a rewind button or restart button.

Please do your bit to help stop your climate crisis. Donate to organisations such as Greenpeace. Sign petitions. Demand our government do something. Hold companies and corporations accountable.

Earth. The one and only. OUR one and only.

~ Colourful Language ~

Inspired by the fact I was playing my Xbox with a friend, swore loudly and my dad told me to stop with the language.

It got me thinking about how swearing and cursing is sometimes considered “colourful language”. And thus I made this print.

I wanted to try a comic book style aesthetic. The blue contrasts the other bright colours, making them loud and in your face: much like swearing is in real life.

Is this very in your face? Yes, yes it is. You either love it or hate it.

This is a new print that I've nearly finished work on. As you can tell, this piece of work is a lot more in your face and on the nose than in my previous post.

~ Change Is Positive ~

The inspiration for these print works was change. Growing up, getting a new job, starting a new friendship, beginning a new relationship.

There are so many examples but to capture change in a visual way I decided the butterfly would be best. It changes from a caterpillar into something beautiful, evidence that change is positive.

This was the main double page spread. I focused on the typeface “Times”. This project was all about organising elements on the page and I quite enjoyed it 😊✏️
