Next Friday, the TeenTech Awards Final returns to the IET London: Savoy Place, where 76 teams will share the projects they've been developing since last autumn.

We've had the pleasure of designing this year's programme again. It celebrates the incredible work TeenTech does year-round, the hard work of every student team that made it to the Final, and the sponsors who make it all possible.

We'll also be there on the day, supporting TeenTech by running their live blog and social media channels. We can't wait.

Episode 4 of Shaking It Up with Parkinson's is out now, and we have another incredible guest! πŸŽ™οΈ

Hosts Maria Lewis and Vicky Rees-Davies are joined by Richard Waters, international award-winning travel writer, co-author of three Sunday Times Top 10 bestsellers, and author of Swimming with the Viking of Skye. Rich has worked on books with Tyson Fury, Adam Peaty and Ollie Ollerton, and his latest was named by the Mail as the second best self-help book of 2025.

This is a conversation about so much more than swimming. It's about acceptance, apathy, impulsive behaviour, the value of adventure, and what it means to really live when time feels more precious than most. Rich talks with a rare openness, and the result is one of our favourite conversations from the whole series so far.

Huge thanks to Richard, Maria and Vicky, and to Parkinson's UK for powering the show. ✨

πŸ•·οΈ The Addams Family posters are appearing across Somerset - and we couldn't be more excited!

We're proud to be the headline sponsor of RE:ACT Performing & Production Arts' production of The Addams Family School Edition at The McMillan Theatre this July. Having been a programme sponsor for a few years and then blown away by their Snow White production last December, becoming headline sponsor felt like the natural next step - and we can't wait to see what this incredible group of young performers and their crew have in store.

Tickets are on sale now - grab yours before they go! 🎟️

A wonderful day in sunny Leicester yesterday! β˜€οΈ

We've been working with Catherine Parry, Neil Chakraborti, and the team at the Institute for Policy at the University of Leicester to produce a series of short-form videos that bring their Policy Briefing Papers to life - nine videos in total, releasing fortnightly, each one a 60-90 second distillation of important, evidence-based research covering everything from space weather to maternal health, land use to SEND education.

The first video dropped last week - featuring the amazing Professor Suzie Imber on space weather - and we were back on campus filming three more, all releasing over the summer.

We covered some brilliant topics:

πŸ₯ Empathic Healthcare with Professor Jeremy Howick
πŸ‘Ά Supporting care for preterm babies with Professor Julie Roberts
🌑️ Heat Stress Preparedness with Dr Abigail Waring (very topical right now!)

This project is a joy to work on, and we can't wait to share the finished videos soon! 🎬

Last night, we produced May's AFT Live Panel Webinar for Adaptive Fitness Training, and it was another wonderful session with great guests and a wonderful live chat with attending fitness professionals.

Nutrition Therapy for Neurorehabilitation and Exercise brought together Dr Kirstie Lawton and Melody Mackeown for a session that covered ground most fitness professionals never get to explore. What drives neurodegeneration, the remarkable science linking environmental toxins to Parkinson's, the gut-brain connection, practical foundations for working with neurological clients, and a real (anonymised) case study showing what proper nutritional support alongside exercise can actually achieve.

If you're a fitness or rehabilitation professional, registration for July's session is now open.

More Than Mechanics: A Fitness Professional's Guide to Lower Limb Amputee Training, with Clinical Lead Prosthetist Katy McIntosh, is on the 30th July at 7:30pm, and it's free to attend.

Episode 3 of Shaking It Up with Parkinson's is out now, and it's another brilliant one! πŸŽ™οΈ

Hosts Maria Lewis and Vicky Rees-Davies are joined by Jordi Cruz, a physiotherapist and paraclimbing competitor who was diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson's at 39 and hasn't stopped climbing since, and Natalia Kaminska, a specialist neurological physiotherapist running climbing sessions for people with Parkinson's in Bradford and Leeds. Together, they explore why climbing could be one of the most effective and joyful exercises available for people living with the condition.

From velocity training and bradykinesia research, to a 75-year-old climbing for the first time and crying with pride, this episode is warm, fascinating and moving, not to mention inspirational.

Huge thanks to Jordi, Natalia, Maria and Vicky, and to Parkinson's UK for powering the show. ✨

🎧 Episode 3 is available now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music and YouTube Music.

Something a little different is coming to our screens on 21st May. 🧠πŸ₯¦

We're producing a live panel webinar on YouTube Live that asks: what if the food we eat, the air we breathe, and the health of our gut could be driving neurodegeneration, and what if changing them could help reverse it?

For the team at Adaptive Fitness Training, every webinar is about putting world-class specialist knowledge directly into the hands of fitness and rehabilitation professionals. This one is no exception.

We're bringing together Dr Kirstie Lawton, PhD and Melody Mackeown, two leading nutritional therapy specialists, for a live, interactive session on nutritional therapy, functional medicine, and neurological health.

Free to attend. 0.5 CIMSPA CPD points up for grabs. Real-time Q&A throughout.

If you work with clients living with neurological conditions, this one is worth your Thursday evening.
