I've never heard anyone ask that, but that's what you should be asking.

It took me 10 years to grow my LinkedIn to 4.5k and the majority of that was organically over time based on people I had some real world interaction with.

I've gotten better at it though, my network grows at a much faster rate now than it did before, but not as fast as it will do in the future, because traction changes over time.

โœจ High-Quality Content: You have your own mind and things you have learned that other people haven't and would benefit from, do not keep it to yourself

๐Ÿ“… Consistent Posting: Zero likes and zero comments suck, but over time more of the right people start seeing your stuff and also you start learning what kind of things your audience want

๐Ÿ’ฌ Engagement and Interaction: Make posts relevant to conversations you've had with people and tag them especially if you solved a problem they were having in your content

๐Ÿค Networking: Use the search every week, find relevant people who may benefit from what you are posting and doing, then reach out to them and make a personal connection.

๐Ÿ“ Optimizing Profile: Make your profile look the part. You know there's a style that most of the LinkedIn influencers use, make use of all the tools and features LinkedIn gives you.

๐Ÿ” Using Relevant Hashtags: Do a little research on popular hashtags in your niche and theme your posts around this so you can get visibility where your content would naturally fit

You are so much more visible across social media than you may believe. In the last 2 weeks I've had 12 people speak to me and specifically bring up posts that they have seen but didn't engage with, ironically some of my worst performing according to the stats.

๐Ÿ“‹ Guides: These let clients do it themselves, we've created guides for each of our services and these sit behind a one-off payment to download; providing an all-in-one document for explaining the services, what work is involved, a series of steps to go through and items to check off.

๐Ÿ“ฆ Packages: These let us get clients off the ground in the most cost effective way. We've put R&D into automating a common roadmaps for clients to get started with minimal manual input, this offers limited customisation initially and achieves a ยฃ500 price point which is important to a lot of clients.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Agile: This gives our clients the most control over where their project/campaign goes. We continuously: plan, implement, review and repeat. Over the long term and this is our most common service type as clients already know the long term value of the produce they're making.

๐Ÿค– AI: These projects allow our clients to build very bespoke and specific features, critically this is the kind of work that is rolled out to existing client bases in the tens of thousands or more where the service costs are dwarfed by the scale of return allowing for much more meticulously created solutions

I think X (formerly Twitter ๐Ÿฅ) is going to win against Threads ๐Ÿงต

Threads is doing what X already did, so it'll be a drop in replacement for people who are unhappy with the Twitter take over and subsequent changes to X, but a large majority will just stay on the platform.

X is aiming to do something I've been interested in for a long time, the mega apps that work as an entire eco system. Super popular in China, I just wonder if the culture in the west is similar enough the recognise and desire that utility as that will likely be the deciding factor.
