Here is 1 thing that everyone should be doing!

How you structure your captions can make or break a social media post! So let take a deep dive!

1. Lead with a hook 🪝
There is one line that someone will always be shown. Using a hook is a great way to draw people in and get them to click “see more”

2. Fill your caption with value!
When writing your caption make sure your giving your audience a reason to come back. You can’t do this by offering tips and tricks or telling a story!

Giving your audience something valuable, allows them to build trust in you!

3. Use a call to action 📣
The longer you keep your audience on your content the better. Giving a call to action directs your audience to keep interacting and pushing your content to more people.

Whether that be directing them to another piece of content on another platform or getting them to interact with the post they are already on.

4. Hashtags #️⃣
The use of hashtags are controversial. Whilst they may not bring you in a tonne of followers but it will help point you in the right direction of your target audience.

Please I beg you, stop making this social media mistake!

One thing that people don’t do is regularly check their hashtags. You should be checking to make sure that the hashtags that your using aren’t oversaturated and you should also be checking that the hashtags your using aren’t banned.

What happens when you use banned hashtags?
There are a few things that can happen if you use banned hashtags. Your content exposure will go down and if used too frequently your account could get suspended.

There are 2 ways you can tell if a hashtag is blocked. A message will show up on the hashtag when searched.
The second is by making your way through the list below.

If you have used any of these hashtags, swap them out for another and see if it helps your account reach increase!
