GUYS, THE JET LAG 😭😭 today has been super comfy and relaxed and I've found some super cute places to hide and read.

I've managed to start and finish The Knave and The Moon, it might be the Gin, but I'm currently an emotional mess!

I'm also picking my way through manacled, when I'm up for a bit more emotional torment 😂

We're in Akita tomorrow, so excited to explore somewhere new!

Japan day two: two me-made outfits, Tokyo Tower, boarding the cruise ship and a little Mt Fuji sunset magic ✨🇯🇵🎀

Another morning exploring Tokyo, changing outfits (because apparently one handmade outfit a day simply isn’t enough 😂), boarding a cruise ship and spotting Mount Fuji in the distance as the sun went down. 🥹🌅

Still can’t quite believe I’m here, wearing clothes I made myself and getting to experience all of this in them. 💕

The handmade holiday wardrobe is officially earning its suitcase space! 🧵✈️

Found a blue sequin dress on Vinted and obviously decided it needed a little Hello Kitty magic. 🎀✨

Enter: sparkly Hello Kitty bows, made with my Cricut, because apparently I can’t leave a perfectly good second-hand dress alone. 😂

The vision is a sparkly blue dress, cute little bows and my Irregular Choice Hello Kitty shoes… basically a walking Sanrio daydream. 💗

Will it all come together as beautifully as I’ve imagined in my head? Only one way to find out! 👀🐱

This time I’m showing you some of the bits I've made from deadstock fabrics, along with the last of the upcycled pieces. 🧵✨

There’s something so special about getting to wear clothes on holiday that I’ve actually made myself, especially when they’ve started life as something completely different or have been rescued from a fabric stash. 💕

So here’s another little peek at my Japan wardrobe — and yes, I’m still pretending I’m going to fit all of this into one suitcase. 😂✈️

I’m going to Japan, so naturally I decided the sensible thing to do was make a ridiculous amount of clothes for the trip. 😂🇯🇵🎀

I’m packing a mix of handmade, upcycled and thrifted outfits, with a healthy amount of colour, nostalgia and things I probably didn’t technically need… but absolutely needed. ✨

Guys, we missed you!! 🩷 Hope you've all been well, I've been lost in some amazing books, and me and my kindle are completely inseparable 🩷

🩷 Cheeky handmade which is of course an upcycled duvet cover! 🩷

🩷 I popped to the shops today and 2 people complimented it, and I don't think I'll EVER get over the little tingly feeling I get when someone likes something I have made out in the real world! 🩷

🩷 I have a few littttttle projects planned before heading off for Japan in 2 weeks (god that's come round fast!) so if you're still here, I can't wait for you to join me and see how they turn out 😂🩷
