💡 Case Study: Rumworth School – Bespoke Assembly Point Signage 💡

Rumworth School provides education for students aged 11–19 with a wide range of learning difficulties and additional needs.

Understanding the importance of clear, accessible communication, we were asked to design and supply bespoke Assembly Point signs for each school year.

Each sign was colour-coded to match the colour that students associate with their year group—an system that helps pupils quickly identify their designated area during emergency evacuations. This tailored approach enhances safety and supports the school’s inclusive ethos.

Our team worked closely with Rumworth School, especially Kathie Kinsella, to ensure the signs were not only compliant with health and safety standards but also visually engaging and easy to understand for all students.

As well as standard H&S signs, British Safety Signs also provide tailored signage solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients.

Bethell Group Plc Customer Liaison Manager Richard, asked for a couple of signs for one of their ongoing projects, this was to deter contractors & delivery drivers from using private driveways to park or turn their vehicles. One sign was fitted to a wooden post and erected in a private garden, the other was manufactured using a T-section fitting which was then attached to an existing road sign.

These custom signs not only serve a practical purpose but also help to maintain the privacy and convenience of the property owners.
