So, you built a website with AI. Great, well done.
Or you have paid someone pennies to build you an Ai slop version of the dream business you wanted to succeed, but it's dropped off faster than lubricated s**t off a well oiled shovel.
It looked decent for five minutes, then dropped off the face of Google.
So you paid £100, £250 or even £500 for what?
A posh digital flyer.
But has it generated you any customers?
No?
Unless you are putting people in a headlock and forcing them to look at it, nobody is going to see it.
You may as well print your website onto a flyer and post it through people’s doors, or beg your family and friends to visit it.
But there is no need for that.
A website is not automatically a sales machine just because it looks decent.
If it scores poorly on Google, gets no organic traffic, has weak content, poor structure, bad SEO, no conversion strategy and no clear reason for people to trust you, then it is just sitting there doing nothing.
AI is fantastic. It can help change styles, tidy things up, improve layouts and correct your appalling grammar. I use it for that too, so you are not alone. I even used it to tidy up this post.
But the design is only the tip of the iceberg.
A proper website needs strategy, structure, SEO, copywriting, speed, trust signals, analytics, conversion points and a clear plan to bring in real customers.
Looking good is not enough.
It needs to work.
So, if you want a website that actually gets traffic, earns trust and brings in leads, leave it to humans with decades of experience building websites that work.
AI can help.
Experience knows what to do with it.
