I'm currently enjoying a fabulously informative read that I picked up in the lovely Hay-on-Wye whilst on holiday. Typography is my 'thing' and the stories behind some of our most-used fonts are so interesting. It almost feels like a continuation of my BA graphic design dissertation (but with more humour!). Spotting this sign on the Science and Industry museum whilst in Manchester last week was the icing on my typography cake 😍.
A couple of weeks ago, to mark Mental Health awareness day, I took myself off for a solo day by the sea. Living in a land-locked county it's always great to get some sea air and take some time away from my office. Clevedon was a bit cloudy but I enjoyed a walk on the coast path, a visit to the pier and its little museum and alfresco lunch at Tiffin (with the best cup of Earl Grey I've ever had).
It's always nice to see your work in the wild and on a recent visit to Purton Thai it was great to use the menus I'd designed and printed.

Recently completed takeaway and restaurant menus for Purton Thai. 6pp DL printed on 170gsm silk by Hulbert & Woodall Print Limited and A4 menus with wipe clean roll laminated covers. Bound with raffia so amendments can be made to the printed menu inside and the cover reused to reduce cost and waste.
