A powerful new mental health initiative has launched across Greater Manchester, using an unlikely everyday object to spark life-saving conversations: the humble wheelie bin.

The Bin Silence Foundation officially launched in March, is already gaining momentum just days into its journey, transforming streets into spaces of awareness, remembrance and support.

Our Rob won the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce Sing Off competition on Friday night.

Rob took to the stage as Vanilla Ice, performing Ice Ice Baby to raise money for Lancashire Mind. The whole evening was packed with talent and entertainment, all performers were from East Lancs organisations, giving it their all for local charitable causes.

Speasking about the event Rob thanked the team at the Chamber and the other 12 performers,

'Having my kids on stage at the end of the event with all of us was truly wonderful, something I will never forget. It was a joy to spend time with you, thanks for the laughs and for making me feel like a rock-star!'

We were recently joined by Billy from Alder Grange School for work experience.

Billy is an absolute star as far as all of us at Bigtank Productions are concerned. From the very moment we were introduced to him he has been keen, excited, interested and really happy to get stuck into any projects or tasks we have shown him.

Billy has joined us on several shoots, we're more than happy introducing him to our clients and having him as part of our crew. He has been a great asset to the team during his time with us. He will go far for sure!

Media student Billy Gresty found his dream work experience placement recently with Bigtank Productions in Rossendale.

Billy was able to see the ins and outs of media production by going to film shoots, learning how to use the equipment and watching the finish product being produced back in the studio. He was also able to use industry standard editing software, Adobe Premiere Pro in a more professional capacity.

When discussing if his placement has helped with his sixth form studies, Billy said, 'Yes! It taught me about the practical application of the theory we learn in Media which brings the subject alive and makes it feel more real'.

In the office he is well mannered and again, super interested in what is going on.
