We had somewhat of an epiphany about our business when we were writing our book, "PR & Marketing For Founders". โ๏ธ
EvokedSet is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year ๐, and over the two decades that we've been supporting startups and scaleups with PR and marcoms, we've always talked in terms of what we deliver. We focus on generating momentum and call this "continuous communications". ๐
Having been on the other side of the fence as clients, we wanted to disrupt the traditional spoon-fed PR agency model ("give us some news and we'll promote it"). We wanted to take the entire marketing "problem" away for our clients.
Our role as we see it? To take ownership, be insatiably proactive, create new opportunities, maximise every activity and investment, and to never let our clients fail.
So that describes what we do. But what is the business problem we are solving? ๐ค
We're often the first marketing department for our startup and spinout clients. We work with brilliant people, often directly with the CEO and founders, who are exceptionally stretched and perhaps entirely new to marketing.
Their business problem is:
๐น Nobody owns marketing
๐น Communications are sporadic
๐น Brand voice is inconsistent
๐น Opportunities are missed
๐น Business development lacks support
๐น Momentum is patchy or stalls
So, what we really deliver is "continuous opportunity capture". We spot the wins and we capitalise on them. Our clients trust us to ensure the ball is never dropped.
WE MAKE MARKETING HAPPEN.
