Delivering a successful rebrand comes down to two major groups:

1. Your internal teams: Do they know how to use the new brand toolkit and assets day-to-day?
2. Your public audience: How will they experience and engage with your new identity?

In this clip, our Creative Lead, Sarah, explains how me&you stepped in as FoodCycle’s creative activation partner to translate strategic concepts into a living, breathing brand ecosystem.

Last month, our CEO Matt Eamer was on the panel for the first ever Digital Marketing for Good: Live!, alongside other experts in the ‘for good’ sector.

The evening’s talks and discussions centred around one important question: How do you build a brand that feels authentic, trustworthy, and distinctive in an increasingly noisy world?

The event touched on:
• Why authenticity is becoming a competitive advantage
• How strong brands act as the engine behind every communication channel
• The importance of accessibility
• Why trust matters more than ever in an AI-saturated landscape

For those who missed the event (or would like a refresher), we’ve pulled together a few practical takeaways into a new blog post.

If you’re thinking about how your organisation positions itself for the future, we hope you’ll find a few useful ideas to take away.

You can even request our free brand healthcheck tool that we gave away on the night.

You’ll find all the details here: https://meandyou.co.uk/how-to-stand-out-and-build-trust-in-an-ai-saturated-world/

Which points give you food for thought? We’d love to hear from you.

A big thank you to FoodCycle London Lewisham New Cross for having us yesterday 🙌

Matt, Sarah and Teona joined Carly Shutes to film interviews about FoodCycle’s recent rebrand, a brilliant collaboration between me&you, FoodCycle, Turner Duckworth and strategy supremo Dan Dufour.

Once filming wrapped, the team rolled up their sleeves to help serve a community meal. They even got to sample some of the delicious dishes made from surplus food, while chatting with diners and hearing firsthand about the difference these meals make.

A fantastic day, and a great reminder of what it’s all about: bringing people together through community dining.

🎥 More on the films coming soon!

This Earth Day we’re shining a (solar-powered) spotlight on the brand refresh we carried out for Kent Community Energy, a community-led initiative funding renewable projects across Kent.

Their challenge?
They were doing brilliant work, but struggling to explain it clearly. Conversations with new partners took time, and their brand felt overly literal and a bit too close to the usual “green energy” clichés, making it harder to stand out or feel credible.
So we helped them simplify and sharpen their story.

We created a flexible brand identity built around the idea of positive change and transformation, reflecting both their environmental impact and their role in strengthening local communities. Visually, we moved away from clichés, introducing a more modern, professional look with bold shapes and a distinctive colour palette.

The result is a brand that communicates clearly, stands out from the crowd, and gives the team confidence when speaking to new partners.

Because if people don’t quickly understand what you do, they’re less likely to support it.

Is your organisation facing the same challenge? Get in touch to see how we can help.

Say hi to Teona! 👋

As our Operations Executive, she plays a key role in keeping everything running smoothly at me&you. Highly organised and with a great eye for detail, Teona keeps on top of project management, planning and coordination across all our creative work. She’s currently loving using Kitchen to keep everything on track.

With a background in fashion communications, she also brings a creative flair to the role, making sure the team has what they need to work efficiently and do their best work. One of the things she enjoys most? No two days are ever the same, and she gets to dip into a wide range of tasks while supporting the team.

Her goal this year is to build even stronger, more meaningful relationships with both our clients and the team.

Outside of work, you’ll find Teona playing Pokémon Pokopia on the Switch or cooking up an Indian feast. She also reckons she’d do pretty well on Come Dine With Me, and if ice cream’s on the menu, mint chocolate chip is her go-to. 🍦

Can a brand be accessible and still have personality?

We’re hearing this a lot from charity marketing teams right now. As accessibility becomes more important (and rightly so), there’s often a fear that improving it means losing what makes your brand distinctive.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

We recently worked with Kent Community Foundation on a brand refresh ahead of their 25th anniversary. Their identity needed to feel credible for donors, while still being warm and human for the communities they support, and crucially, it needed to meet accessibility standards.

So, we started with people. Through co-creation workshops with staff and trustees, we evolved the brand, reimagining their much-loved Oast House and building a vibrant, accessible design system the team can use every day.

The result?
A brand that’s inclusive by design, packed with personality.

Accessibility shouldn’t dilute your brand. It should strengthen it.

👉 Not sure if your brand is working for everyone? Let’s talk.

Meet Megan, our Creative Artworker. With a background in the third sector, she has a real passion for supporting brands that put people and the planet first. She loves using her design skills to clearly and creatively communicate what they stand for and help charities reach more people.

Outside of work, Megan’s a big fan of Superstore, loves unwinding with video games, and has a soft spot for popcorn Malteser bunnies. Her favourite place she’s visited? Tokyo… which explains her love of Pokemon and anime.

One of her proudest moments is graduating with a first (rightly so), and looking ahead to 2026, she’s focused on bringing even more confidence and creativity into her design work.

Keep your eyes peeled for more intros coming soon 👀

Next up in our Meet the Team series is Reveille, our Creative Content Designer.

Finding inspiration in architecture, Reveille is a graphic designer and illustrator who loves building strong visual identities and cohesive design systems. She is particularly passionate about weaving cultural influences into her work, creating designs that feel meaningful and tell a powerful story.

Reveille’s work-from-home setup usually includes noise-cancelling headphones and a Bossa Nova playlist in the background, the perfect soundtrack for getting into a creative flow.

When taking a break from designing in her favourite design tool, Figma, Reveille’s current go-to treat is smoked salmon and vegan cream cheese bagel (yum!).

Alongside her design role, Reveille is also currently studying Digital Marketing to expand her skillset. Her goal for 2026 is to sharpen those digital marketing skills and bring even more strategic thinking into her creative process.

And if you know Avatar: The Last Airbender, her most relatable fictional character might tell you a lot about her calm, thoughtful approach: Uncle Iroh.

Time to introduce another brilliant human from the me&you team.

Meet Louise, our Creative Designer & Copywriter.

If Louise were a brand, her slogan would be: “Where creativity meets clarity.” Which feels pretty spot on. She blends visual communication, illustration and carefully crafted words to make messages land clearly, confidently and beautifully.

Louise finds inspiration everywhere, especially exploring new towns and cities (and London anytime). The architecture, signage, colours, patterns, fashion… she always comes back with fresh ideas. At weekends, you’ll likely find her browsing a charity or vintage shop hunting for hidden gems. Her screen time ranges from Interior Design Masters to the slightly more “trashy but addictive” MAFS Australia (no judgement here).

Driven by a passion for clarity and engagement, Louise is always looking for smarter, more creative ways to bring stories to life. Her 2026 goal? Diving deeper into brand strategy and verbal branding.

More faces from the team coming your way soon.
