🌽🌻 AND THAT’S A WRAP – WE’RE NOW CLOSED FOR THE 2026 SEASON! 🌻🌽
A massive thank you to everyone who visited and supported us throughout our second season.
We’ve seen plenty of familiar faces from last year and loads of new ones too, and it really does mean a lot seeing people come back and support us and this little farm diversification of ours.
One of the best parts of the season has been watching everyone enjoy it. Seeing the kids’ faces light up as they headed straight for the bale maze, clambering over the bales, jumping the gaps and racing around, before disappearing off into the maize maze and getting completely lost!
We’ve also had plenty of laughs watching everyone trying to solve the puzzles. Some of you flew through them, while others spent a fair bit longer trying to work out what the word was in the sunflower trail. As soon as I gave the clue, “it’s a country”, quite a few of you suddenly got it! 😂
And for everyone who spent half their visit looking for them… Butch really was board number 3, and Clay really was number 10. They were both definitely out there! 😂
Our two torchlight evenings were another real highlight of the season. Seeing so many people heading into the maze after dark was absolutely brilliant, and both nights had such a good atmosphere.
A huge thank you to The Brew Box and Rhubarb Pizza'zz for being there throughout the season, and to Madds and Rich for the live music at our final torchlight evening. Also a big thank you to Trerair Farm Shop for lending us their cauliflower rig to use as a stage for the music. You all helped make this season what it was.
Most importantly, thank you to every single person who came through the gate this summer. Whether you visited once, came back again, recommended us to somebody else, shared one of our posts or simply told us you’d enjoyed your day, it all means a lot.
🎉 And congratulations to Phoebe Pengelly, who was drawn at random as the winner of our 2026 prize draw and has won a £25 Amazon gift voucher! 🎉
That’s the gates closed for another year, but the work isn’t quite finished yet. The maize is still standing and harvest will be here in the next few weeks 🌽🚜. Until then, it’s back to the day job!
Thank you for making our second season what it was, and hopefully we’ll see plenty of you again in 2027! 🌻🌽
