Some recent restorations and colourising work for a customer. Requirements were to scan poor quality 65 year old BW originals at high resolution. Enhance with a general restoration, improve exposure, contrast, shadows, highlights, remove spots, feint scratches, create missing detail, sharpen up etc. As per client request remove distracting objects (people in the backgeound, towels etc). Liaise with customer on colours, research as well. Then create numerous colourising layers/masks.
Print using Epson Premium photopapers and Epson antifade inks, mount the prints using all acid free materials/conservation techniques, and frame in hand made solid ash hardwood frames. An all in one solution, restore, print and frame.
End result, a very pleased customer.
