✔️ Simple monthly payment link
✔️ Fresh pasture-raised eggs and farm produce, delivered direct to your door

Our minimum order is just 1 dozen eggs (£5.60), and you can also add extras such as our curds and grass-fed beef (subject to availability).

Why Our Eggs Are Different 🐓

We farm just outside of Ripon, and our eggs are delivered within a few days of being laid so freshness is always guarantee.

Our hens are pasture-raised, regularly moved onto fresh grazing alongside our cattle as part of our regenerative farming system. This gives them a rich and varied natural diet, producing eggs with exceptional flavour and nutritional density.

Unlike many standard free-range systems, our hens always have access to fresh pasture rather than the same, limited outdoor space.

At just £2.80 per half dozen, we believe our eggs offer incredible value, especially compared to supermarket eggs of a similar standard with the added benefits of freshness, low food miles and supporting a local family farm.

If you would like to find out more about the eggs, join our dedicated Facebook group Mallard Grange Egg Club where you can follow our flock.

Join our growing community of follow egg lovers by signing up to a regular delivery using the MSForms linked below. ⬇️

We’d love to welcome more local people to our growing community, especially those passionate about supporting British farming, buying local and knowing exactly where your food is coming from.

Wishing all of our followers, friends and loyal customers a very happy Christmas 🎄

2025 has been a whirlwind with so many highlights but one thing is for sure, the opportunities and growth wouldn’t have been possible without your continued support.

We are excited to see what 2026 has to offer, but for today… we will down tools (after the morning shift of course!!), eat turkey, pull crackers, drink port and be merry.

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones, and sending festive wishes from the farm 🤍

I know you’re all here for the carrot content…🥕

So here goes — one pot of spiced carrot, sweet potato & coriander soup, with plenty left over for Christmas dinner.

The Chaos Garden surprised us this year with some amazing results. Not just carrots, but also beetroots, radishes, chard, fennel and plenty more to enjoy.

What started as a simple experiment turned out better than we expected and I have really enjoyed trying out some new recipes in the kitchen.

Minimal effort, no artificial inputs, just a scattering of mixed seeds and a generous helping of manure to get things going 💩

James and I are keen to grow even more fresh produce next year, allowing us to live more sustainably and to give Jemima a more nutritious diet.

Knowing where our food comes from, how it’s grown, and how it fuels our bodies is a big goal for us heading into 2026.

Follow along for more, and let us know in the comments if you’ve got similar goals for the New Year 🌱

The moment we’ve all been waiting for 🥁

Our pasture-raised egg journey began on 8 July 2023, thanks to one of James’s WILD ideas. We launched the ‘Egg Club’ with just 120 happy hens, housed in Thunderbird One, our very first mobile egg unit. It moved alongside the cattle, as part of our mob-grazing, regenerative system.

Each week we packed a small number of boxes by hand and delivered them personally to our amazing Egg Club community on Facebook.

Fast forward to March 2024, Thunderbird Two arrived, and suddenly we were able to supply even more wonderful customers who had fallen in love with our eggs. We cobbled together homemade labels and kept hand-packing every single box, tedious and time consuming but worth it for the growing demand.

And now… 2025.
A huge step forward with the arrival of our state-of-the-art unit, home to 450 beautiful mixed-breed birds. We’ve built a dedicated packing house on the farm, complete with grading equipment to make life a little easier (though yes, we’re still packing each box by hand!).

But this week marks an especially proud moment: our custom egg boxes have finally arrived.
Seeing our vision brought to life through these stunning labels, created by our talented friend .hl.briggs feels like a huge milestone.

The artwork captures everything we stand for, happy hens roaming freely alongside cattle during the summer months, sunshine over rolling fields, our MG swinging sign, and of course, the iconic Akubra hat. It’s unique, full of character, and tells the story of who we are with a sprinkle of good Yorkshire humour.

We’ve got big plans still to come, but for now, these beautiful new boxes will be hitting the shelves at and later this week and not forgetting our loyal Egg Clubbers, who will also receive them on Thursdays delivery. We’d LOVE for you to grab a box, take a snap, and tag us so we can share the love.

Let us know in the comments what you think? 🤔💛🥚

The Chaos Garden 🪏

Another one of James’s wild, experimental ideas… but it wasn’t a complete disaster.

He scattered a mix of veggie seeds into half an acre to see what would happen and now we’re reaping the rewards!

An abundance of carrots, beetroots, parsnips, chard, salads, corn, fennel and more.🥕🌽🫜🧅🥬

Every harvest feels like a treasure hunt, and I love seeing what I can whip up in the kitchen with super fresh ingredients.

Today’s menu was obvious: a good old Sunday Roast.

🥕 Carrots, parsnips & beets from the Chaos Garden
🍯 Roasted in MG honey
🥔 Potatoes & leeks from our own garden
🐷 Local pork joint
🥚 MG pasture-raised eggs for the Yorkies
🍎 Foraged apple’s for a tangy sauce
🍽️ All topped off with homemade gravy & a few glasses of wine

There’s something special about cooking with our own homegrown produce, it’s fresh, tasty, packed with nutrients and so cost-effective.

We’re already playing around with ideas for 2026 and might just bring you a bit of Chaos Garden magic too… watch this space 👀
