DON’T WORRY, THIS IS BNI ROCHDALE’S FEED!!!! We appreciate why there might be some confusion. So many images of people sporting tans that suggest somewhere significantly more exotic than the M62 corridor, all courtesy of the bank holiday heatwave! 🥵

So, what went on this week in the balmy climates of ‘Costa Del Rochdale’……

💷 The total business passed this week was a sizzling hot £88,753, taking the May total to a scaulding £241,697‼️

⚡ John Marsh from JJS Electrical delivered our feature presentation, talking about his domestic and commercial electrical services, including EV chargers and solar panels — and as if to prove his prowess with all things electric, an actual thunderstorm started mid-presentation. Coincidence? We think not.

🔥 Michael Day from Excel Entertainment Ltd turned up the heat even further, taking this week's ‘Best 45 Seconds’ Oscar, which no doubt means he now holds bragging rights over every act on his books. Who’s betting there is a bit of green-eyed monster envy going round Excel Towers today 🤣

🌤️ We also provided a literal and metaphorical warm welcome to a host of visitors — Mark Adlen from BOX KING, Lee Durrant from Mayfield Rugby Club, Michelle Waterworth from Tropic Skin Care, Rebecca Coria from Coria Properties, and Stephen Wild from Ashton Car Alarm Centre. 💷 £10K in business passed this week — although it would have been more, but for an annoying, buggy app update. Says something that we are frustrated only £10K in business was recorded in just one week 😉

🏆 Steve Griffin of The Carpet & Flooring Depot won Best 60 Seconds this week. His ask? Introductions to Jeff Bezos and Tim Cook. Completely reasonable. We’ll check our contacts and get back to you, Steve.

🎤 Cody McCullough from Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd delivered the feature presentation on the hidden cost of businesses trying to handle their own recruitment. Turns out DIY hiring is a lot like DIY plumbing — seems straightforward until it very much isn’t. Worth a conversation if you’ve ever winced at a hire that didn’t work out.

💷 So this week we passed a staggering £129,085!!!! Yup, you've read that right, folks 🎤

⭐️ Warren Senior from Senior Waste Removals delivered a truly inspirational feature presentation. Please grab a coffee with him to hear it for yourself, because it’s worth it. He says he’ll bring the biscuits too.

🎉 Thomas O'Connor from OCFF Property Services Ltd became our fourth new member this month. Proper introduction coming very soon, but for now, just know that El Presidente Jack wasn’t standing in a hole when that picture was taken.

🏆 Member of the Month for May goes to Vicki Barnett of Springhill Hospice, who returned with an absolute bang and passed a whopping £17,000 in business. Safe to say the chapter is very glad to have her back.

🍺 A massive congratulations to John Marsh of JJS Electrical and his family on becoming the new custodians of The C**k and Magpie in Whitworth. Looking forward to getting that open bar tab started (P.S. he’s the one showing off his new ‘landlord social skills’ at the back on his billy-lonesome 🤣)
