Vacancy Description
We need a trainee print / production finisher
You will be working in our friendly, creative print studio in Rooks Bridge with our small team of highly skilled professionals. You should have a very keen eye for detail and should care about everything you do. We treat every job the same, whether it's a BBC project or something for a local tradesman. We are looking for someone who is prepared to ask questions at every point. To take on simple repetitive tasks and complete them quickly but to a very high standard every time. Over the course your apprenticeship you will be trained to help run our HP Indigo digital press, digital laminating machine, hot foil press, scorer & perforator. This position is a manual role in our company and could be good for someone who is interested in crafts or creative design, but doesn't want to sit at a computer. You should be self motivated and prepared to take on challenges and learn new things. Quality control is large part of everyones role here. Most of our work is fast turnaround with critical deadlines. We can't let quality suffer even if we have to work quickly.
