Looking smart Girls! Ross on Wye Rugby Club 👏👏

🏉 H I S T O R I C • F I R S T 🏉

Ross‑on‑Wye RFC U14 Girls vs Ledbury

Ross‑on‑Wye RFC made club history this weekend as the U14 Girls took to the field for their first ever full‑contact rugby match — the first junior female team in club history to do so. A huge moment, embraced with courage, pride and outstanding spirit 💗

From kick‑off to the final whistle, the girls defended superbly, putting in a huge number of tackles and showing real grit throughout. Their determination never dipped, and every player gave everything right to the end — an incredible effort for a team in their first competitive outing.

The squad represented Ross‑on‑Wye RFC brilliantly on and off the pitch. Their sportsmanship, respect for the opposition, and calm, mature conduct reflected the true values of rugby. Parents, coaches and the whole club are extremely proud of their achievement.
