🎂 The Great Dawleys Bake Off – what a showstopper! 🎂

Can you judge a company by how well they run a bake off? At Dawleys, we like to think you can and this one was a cracker!

Our second Great Dawleys Bake Off filled the office with incredible cakes, savouries and a whole lot of laughter. The competition was fierce, the bakes were stunning, and the judges had a very tough job… but someone had to do it! 😋

A huge thank you to Becci Smith and Lucy Yemm for organising such a brilliant event, to Callum Price for the video and Ethan Hegarty for the photos. And a big shout-out to our generous local sponsors – The Hope and Anchor - Ross On Wye , Hanks’ Meat & Game, Seven Seas Fish Bar & Restaurant and The Priory Coffee House for donating some fantastic prizes. 🙌

After the judging, we held a cake sale and coffee morning with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Now, boosted by a donation from The Dawleys Foundation. 💗 The total is still being counted but it's over £300 and every slice made a difference!

It was the perfect way to round off Breast Cancer Awareness Month – full of colour, kindness and community spirit. So proud of Team Dawleys for making this year’s Bake Off one to remember.

Dawleys are taking part in Funky hair Funday today in support of The Little Princess Trust!

Along with colleagues making donations to have funky hair, the team have also baked cakes to raise even more money!

Our Key Account Manager Leigh-Ann Cowles will be having her hair cut off this afternoon to donate to LPT!

Dawleys is thrilled to continue its role as the front of shirt sponsor for Hereford FC for an additional two years. This partnership, which began in the 2019/2020 season, is set to strengthen further with an expanded collaboration.

This renewal marks the fifth year of the fruitful relationship between Dawleys, a leading provider of marketing and business support services in Herefordshire, and Hereford FC, a club steeped in community spirit and footballing passion. The extended agreement ensures that the Dawleys logo will continue to grace the front of the Bulls' shirts, symbolizing a shared commitment to excellence and community engagement.

In addition to the sponsorship renewal, Dawleys is deepening its involvement with the club by offering enhanced marketing and database management support. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance Hereford FC's marketing efforts and engage more effectively with fans and the community. The Dawleys team's expertise will be instrumental in developing a new range of promotional emails and news updates, designed to keep supporters up-to-date and involved with all aspects of club life.

Hereford FC’s Commercial Director, George Webb, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have agreed this deal and to know that our strong commercial relationship with Dawleys will be continuing. Dawleys have been fantastic supporters of our club – over many seasons – and this year their help with marketing and managing our databases has had a huge impact. As a club, we get a huge amount out of our relationship with Dawleys and we are very proud that they have been willing to commit to a deal for a further two years. I can’t thank Managing Director, Sally Gibson, Client Services Director, Luke Beard, and Account Manager, James Gill, enough for all their help and we are all really excited to know our relationship with Dawleys is continuing longer-term.”

Amazing bit of fundraising by who raised over £700 on Christmas Jumper Day for Ross-on-Wye Community Larder and St Michael's Hospice, Hereford.

For one day only we opened the Dawleys Bakery selling home made cakes and sausage rolls and held a raffle with some fantastic prizes. A special thank you to Lucy Yemm who sold all the raffle tickets through the tactics of 'persuasion' and 'cajoling'. Big thanks also to everyone who took the time to bring in some truly delicious cakes and the fastest selling sausage rolls in Dawleys history - we love a sausage roll! The funds raised will be split between the Ross-on-Wye Community Larder and St Michael's Hospice.

Dawleys are delighted to be able to support Hereford FC Walking Football. There are two teams, an over 50s and an over 60s. They train once a week at Hereford 6th form college and also belong to the Gloucester league. They take part in national cup competitions and play in the odd tournament here and there. Their oldest member is 74 and youngest is 42.
