It was an absolute pleasure to watch this team play today, with 3 players missing through illness we had to play with no subs, and wow what a performance!

We honestly could have given every single player, player of the match.

This weeks award went to Max, he was a constant threat down the left wing, creating assists, grabbing a goal and always putting pressure on the opposition 👏

Under 9s North.

Oh how I've not missed these overcast freezing cold mornings
Today was bitter. Cold. Wet. Soggy and a tough pitch to play on.
The ball didn't move and got stuck in divits!!!

But the lads played like they can play and gave it all there best!

Beau has also been with Stoke tonight and Nyran is unfortunately missing our game tomorrow but is with Birmingham City.

Truly amazing.

Under 9’s East

Sorry this is delayed, Sunday was definitely needed for the lads, they showed how they can really play as a team with 10/10 performances all over the pitch, penalty saves, last ditch tackles, free kicks and goals direct from corners the game had it all, Kylie said it has done no good for his heart with all the ups and downs but the lads battled and never let there heads drop, it’s a pleasure to see them grow as a team every match.

Sundays player of the match was MH9 he is always disappointed when he doesn’t get his goal but his all round performance was fantastic, a true striker display playing on the shoulder receiving the ball and playing with strength and power, his stint in defence was just as good covering every blade of grass making important tackles when needed.
Parents player was MC7 with a brilliant second half performance even scoring straight from a corner.

Under 9’s East

A bit of a different post today as it was our xmas get together, we decided Bowling and food would be just what the boy’s needed, it was smiles all round and great to see all the kids and parents having fun which is what we all do it for.

The present’s of course was there own Fifa cards along with a selection box, even me and Kylie got a couple of presents that we were not expecting.

Thank you again to all the parents and children you have been amazing in the 6 short months we have been together see you all in the New year.
