What is Greenwashing? ๐ฑ
Greenwashing is when companies falsely promote their products as being environmentally friendly or sustainable to attract eco-conscious consumers. Itโs misleading marketing that can often result in consumers believing they are making greener choices when, in reality, they arenโt.
When it comes to branded merchandise, greenwashing can happen in several ways:
*Using vague terms like "eco-friendly" without any certifications or evidence to back it up.
*Claiming products are made from recycled materials when only a small percentage actually is.
*Packaging that highlights sustainability in one area but ignores harmful practices elsewhere in production.
At Inspire, we take sustainability seriously. ๐ฟ We are actively fine-tuning our supply base and weeding out suppliers that arenโt completely honest about the sustainable properties of their products. Our goal is to ensure that we offer our clients truly sustainable, eco-friendly solutions that align with our values and those of our customers.
Letโs work together to keep it green โ the right way! โ
