🏫 A new chapter for Sandon JMI School 🏫

Sandon JMI School is excited to welcome its new Headteacher, Mr Spencer Rignall, as the historic village school begins an exciting new chapter.

The school has also welcomed new staff and received significant investment through the RISE programme, helping to further develop its SEND provision and support pupils with higher levels of need.

🌟 With nine new pupils joining in recent months, there is plenty of positive progress at this much-loved rural school, which has been at the heart of Sandon since 1835.

The role involves:
🦙 Feeding and watering two herds of alpacas

🚗 Travelling between the two locations

✈️ FROM FLYING THE WORLD TO BRIGHTENING OUR DISPLAY! 🌍

We have some incredibly worldly talent right here at our reception desk! Before joining our team, our lovely receptionist Heidi spent 12 years flying around the globe as an air hostess, visiting almost every corner of the world. 👩‍✈️

✨Today, Heidi brought in her massive, beautiful collection of vintage postcards from her 12 years of travel. Which she would send to her own grandmother, who would like to know where Heidi was around the world.

We’ve set them up as a special summer display, and our residents are having the absolute best time looking through them, sharing stories, and pointing out all the far-flung destinations! 🗺️❤️

🎨 Community News: Jennie Vee Art School at Curwens Art Gallery

Curwens Gallery in Royston is delighted to welcome back the talented artists of Jennie Vee Art School!

Working across a wide range of styles and mediums, the exhibition offers plenty to see, enjoy and buy, as well as the chance to find out more about classes and workshops.

🎨 Have a go! The popular free art activities are back too. Just pop in, they’re open to all ages.
