What a day! We’re still in awe after attending the British Association of Landscape Industries Awards 2025 at the beautiful JW Marriott Grosvenor House London a truly spectacular celebration of the talent, dedication and craftsmanship across the industry.

Being there to record a series of Awards Specials for the Dig Deep Podcast felt incredibly amazing. This podcast has become such a powerful vehicle for sharing insight, honest conversation and the kind of knowledge you only get from people who live and breathe landscaping and last week took that to another level. We are more than garteful to be the production company behind such a powerful vehicle. Thank you Rosie Sayers!

On the day we also had apleasure to interview Chris Bennett Marketing Director at and Nick Coslett, BALI Chalk Fund Trustee and Chairman & Former BALI Chairman & Landscape Architect

Huge congratulations to all of this year’s winners. The standard of work showcased was nothing short of exceptional, inspiring, humbling and a real reminder of why this industry matters. This morning at felt like a gentle journey into another era, a manor wrapped in December fog, glowing with warmth, history and poetic nostalgia you can’t quite put into sentences, only feel.

We were welcomed by William, the estate’s owner (yes, THE owner) - William, whose family has held this home since the 16th century. His words hit a place deeper than small talk: “A house like this needs people… it needs to be lived in.”

And honestly? That’s exactly what we felt, the manor was breathing with every conversation, laugh and footstep echoing through its halls.

And the cherry on top… the canapés. 🤌😍 Freshly prepared by chef founder of .eats.catering , and Blyth Hall catering partner. Hand crafted, bold, full of flavour, super delicious and made right here on site. 🙌👨‍🍳

We walked away inspired in every way. From story to setting, craft, atmosphere and community.

A massive thanks to for curating the networking events in such beautiful settings ♥️ you really do keep on finding and spotlighting all the beautiful places our region has to offer.

As always, we loved seeing familiar faces and meeting new Chamber members.

Here’s to heritage that comes alive when shared and spaces that feel like home even just for one foggy, festive December morning ✨

We didn’t take home the national award this time but being named Regional Winner in the Digital Revolution category at the 2025 British Chambers of Commerce Awards feels huge!

To think that, in six years of running this business this was our first ever year entering awards… and we’ve come away with two wins and two finalist places. Still sinking in. 🏆💛

Ozzy Forever. Birmingham Forever.
We’re heartbroken at the news of Ozzy Osbourne’s passing. A true legend, a force of nature and Birmingham’s proudest son.

We had the privilege of designing the “Birmingham Forever” tshirt for the unveiling of Ozzy the Bull at New Street Station during the Commonwealth Games.

The phrase came straight from Ozzy himself, shouted during his unforgettable performance at the closing ceremony.

As fate would have it, Sharon Osbourne visited the city and was handed one of our shirts. This photo of her holding it now feels even more powerful, a quiet tribute to a man whose music, presence, and love for Birmingham inspired generations.

We also had the massive privilege of seeing Black Sabbath live in Birmingham in 2013, one of the best gigs of our lives. That power, that voice, it was something else.

Thank you, Ozzy, for everything.
You gave the world a voice that will never be silenced.

Last week we supported in the launch of The Next Chapter and what a journey it’s been!

Blunt & Brave proudly supported the United by 2022 in the creation and launch of this interactive legacy exhibition. From 3 months of planning, 4 intense hours of install to 4 beautiful days of public engagement programmed by Outdoor Places Unusual Spaces and supported by United by 2022 Volunteers.

From engaging audiences in making wishes at the Digital Wishing Well to writing their own next chapter in the book, to recording podcasts and capturing the voices of those involved in the project over the years, this has truly been a storytelling experience like no other.
