In 2024, during the worst year of her life, Jess – founder and director of Movify Your Life – asked herself the question, ‘What if I approached my life as if it were a movie?’ and decided to film herself for a year on a quest to do exactly that.

Jess has brought that philosophy to life through her ‘moviementary’ (her feature-length documentary with a twist, available on YouTube), her accompanying Movify Your Life book, and her weekly podcast, The Movify Your Life Show, which drops every Movify Monday. Together with her Main Character Memo mailing list, they constitute what she likes to call the Movify Your Life Cinematic Universe.

She’s also recently premiered her online membership, Movify University, set on a virtual college campus where students can take classes, go on Movify Missions, and Movify Their Lives together in a wonderful community, all while feeling like they’ve stepped onto the set of a feel-good American college film. By taking Movify U’s foundational course, Movify 101, they can even ‘produce’ their life like a movie on the Movify Studios Backlot.

🔔 HIVE MEMBER SHOUT OUT: Adrian J Basford Rugeley Town Crier 🔔

We wanted to give a very special shout out to one of our wonderful Hive members, Adrian Basford, who is such an integral part of this community.

Amongst the many, many things Adrian does, he is The Rugeley Town Crier, and an exceptional one at that!

Next week he will be representing Rugeley and the Staffordshire Regiment at the World Town Crier Tournament in Chester, going head to head with 25 town criers from 8 nations: England, the Channel Islands, Australia, Canada, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and the USA, all competing for the title of the world's best.

That is a huge honour, and we are so proud that our Adrian is part of it. Rugeley will be very well represented (and very well heard).
