Some of you might recognise this location…? Our old address in Saffron Walden is now home to accountants and it’s looking rather nice with their new branding. A painted tray sign to the exterior, beautiful acrylic graphic in reception. Their logo was created in a modern style with complimentary colours and type. Was a pleasure helping them with their corporate identity and always love seeing this office and all my neighbours when I pass by on a regular basis on my way to my second home :-)

It’s been a pleasure helping recently with some fresh new interior signage for the new year. Consisting of Acrylic Signs, Foamex panels, Vinyl Graphics and Posters. Even managed to include some of my own photography on the reception graphic :-)

It’s not all print, print, print….

Over the last 18months / 2 years I’ve had the great opportunity to work with friends building up firstly a pop up shop and ultimately the coolest shop in . My partners in crime ha and .art.bureau aka Mark and Fiona. In early 2023 I’d taken delivery of some cool neon signs which were going to form part of a website for the other business I operate .

We started on a market stall, evolved to a pop up shop and then Fiona joined our formidable team. We’ve not looked back since. When I’m not printing I’m either creating designs for neon or hatching more plans. Be sure to follow for all things neon, art and vinyl records. Coolness personified 😎 🧍‍♂️ 🧍‍♂️ 🧍‍♀️

A blast from the past. Been looking at some old images from when I first started on my own. This image around 2009/2010 when I first had an office in Thaxted with a friend. I’ve been working in printing since leaving school, starting my trade at a printers in Cambridge and working there for many years before taking the plunge and working for myself. It was definitely worth doing and I’ve learnt so much. I’m also so happy to be based in Saffron Walden close to many great businesses and fellow entrepreneurs. Wishing you all a very happy start to 2025 :-)

So a couple of anniversaries happened recently. It’s been 13 years since I moved my business to Saffron Walden. I’ve loved working in the town and made many friends, and learnt so much as a result. It was also about a year ago when I started selling Neon Signs. It’s been some journey with this, from a market stall one week, to a pop up shop with friends and then co sharing a shop in town with them. I’ve also got a website www.neonmarket.co.uk which looks so great thanks to Sam Chandler . The future is bright for this little side business and is such fun. Originally had a dozen pieces of Neon in stock but now is packing a punch with small and larger art pieces. I’ve also been designing custom ones for clients and selling my own designed ones which I’ve been really pleased with . If any of you are in Saffron Walden drop into Artbeats, Emson Close. A mad few days this weekend. Culminating in visiting the classic car show on common where we got to see a friends . Before this I was with friends from . Such a great time with amazing visits to and much more. Our friends from Germany had such a great time, they sure love . Well done for organising such great times with many happy memories. Also managed to see my relatives whilst in Cambridge too. Happy days . .de .
