As the world’s greatest flower show gets underway in Chelsea this week, it’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with the latest exhibition at St Albans Museums.

‘A Growing City’ highlights our horticultural history through the years with a wealth of wonderful and interactive displays.

We were asked by the curators to come up with the exhibition branding. It had to be reflective of the City’s rich gardening legacy as well as incorporating a modern twist.

We made the famous Ryder greenhouse on Holywell Hill the foundation for the design and took elements from all the local growers and nurseries to form the floral border.

We’ve been truly humbled by the response to the finished article and we’re proud to have contributed something so special to this story.

We would have posted this a bit earlier but it’s taken us this long to recover 😄 🥂

Our relationship with St Albans District Chamber of Commerce is one we’ve built up over many years and one we’re extremely proud of. The St George’s Day Luncheon is a jewel in their crown so they have to ensure the branding is right.

Each year we help provide a bespoke, fresh new take on things - from digital media to event day table programmes and sponsorship material.

Our thanks go to the chamber and their continued support.

Like us, you’ll have no doubt enjoyed the recent City of Ale weekend in St Albans.

Not only was it the perfect opportunity to immerse yourselves in some of the greatest pubs our City has to offer, but it was also the launch of our latest project - the new Rail Ale Trail, created in collaboration with the Abbey Line Community Rail Partnership and local branches of CAMRA.

The feedback so far has been wonderful and we’re extremely proud of the end result. There are some hard copies in local pubs too so make sure you pick one up and get on that trail!

Our attention turned further afield this week as the Nations League play-offs came to a conclusion ahead of the Euro 2028 campaign.

Working with international teams is always exciting and having the opportunity to work with other talented, passionate people really makes the end product shine.

Whilst our work can be proudly found displayed around the world, there’s always something nice about working on projects closer to home. It’s those small chats over coffee and the brainstorming sessions over a pint that help build relationships, friendships and a level of trust, all aided by top-end design.

The oldest pub in England, our award-winning museums, our brilliant green spaces, the home of the Ryder Cup and local Chamber of Commerce have all used Ember to help kick-start 2026.

Just before Christmas, it was announced that the Inns and Alehouses in Victorian St Albans has been extended due to popular demand.

We’re immensely proud of our relationship with St Albans Museums and our design work on this latest exhibition just highlights our continued commitment to creating high-quality, engaging visuals.

The response so far has been amazing, the exhibition was originally due to close on 15 March but will now be open until Sunday 19 April 2026. If you haven’t visited yet, or want to come back for another look, now’s the perfect time to explore the stories behind the City’s iconic pub culture.

The festive season is often associated with Santa, snow, sprouts. . . and SPORT!

The calendar is always packed throughout this time of year and its traditions go back for generations. It’s a busy time of year for all in the industry and we’ve built a reputation on providing the very best design service to dozens of clubs, ranging from International fixtures, the European competitions, right the way through the UK professional leagues and into the non-league scene.

Each club as important as the next. High intensity deadlines met with high quality design. It’s what we do.

Wow!

It turns out pretty much everyone is in the Christmas spirit this year. Going by the social platforms, it’s been a packed calendar over the last few months and as always, we’ve been privileged to help provide design and print for a host of those wonderful events.

From festive menus, carol services, charity dinners, central branding and much more. It’s always a hectic time so it’s always nice to take that stress away from our customers.

Autumn is a busy time in everyone’s calendar.

Those far-flung beaches & boozy cocktails are now a disappearing memory, the kids are back to school and it’s full-steam ahead in terms of business promotion.

That’s where we come in. Over the past two months we’ve been working with some truly amazing people to help build their brand and create some serious buzz about their upcoming events.
