Right. Hi. I’m the person behind Salty Twe. 👋

I build websites, sort out SEO and help small businesses make more sense of their online presence.

I’m not particularly interested in making marketing sound complicated, corporate or like it was written by a committee.

I like figuring out what’s actually not working, why it’s not working, and what we can bloody well do about it.

Salty Twe is a mix of websites, SEO, digital marketing, honest observations and the occasional “erm… why have we done that?” 😂

Ever scroll through Instagram and feel like you’ve seen the same post 47 times? 👀

Same Canva template.
Same stock photo.
Same “3 tips to…”
Same carefully polished caption.

And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with any of those things on their own.

The problem is when your content becomes so similar to everyone else’s that you could swap the logo and nobody would notice.

Your brand isn’t just your logo or your colour palette.

It’s how you sound. What you notice. What you talk about. What you believe. The perspective you bring.

That’s the stuff people remember.

Consistency matters. But consistency doesn’t mean making everything look exactly the same.

Go look at your own website.

Not as the person who built it.
Not as the person who knows exactly where everything lives.

As someone who has never seen it before.

Can they work out what you do?
Can they tell if you’re for them?
Can they find the important stuff?
Can they figure out what to do next?

If not, you’ve got a leak.

And no amount of prettying the place up is going to fix a hole you haven’t found. 🫠

That’s what an audit is for.
