Let this be your sign. From now, be unapologetically yourself, do things for you and stop putting pressure on yourself to ‘fit in’ with the linear, boring, fu**ed up set of ‘rules’ that are out on you to ‘get the job, get the house, get married, have the baby, work for money and pay your debt that was assumed you’d get and then retire... live that tiny portion of your life with the regret that you didn’t do what you wanted.

Don’t take life too seriously.

I have remind myself of that from time to time when I get too caught up in chasing ‘the dream’.
⠀
It’s good to have goals. It’s good to want something for yourself. But it’s also good to take a step back sometimes, and just ‘be’.
⠀
Be in that moment & remember that this is all essentially just a game. And if you do what you do to make yourself happy you win the game ever single f**kin’ time.

Humans are fu***ng cool. Step out your life for a second, look at the Human race as a whole. All of us on this little (by comparison) floating rock trying to figure out what we’re supposed to be doing.

We’ve put into place this ‘structure’ of what we’re ‘meant’ to be doing and forgetting to take a breath to just BE.
⠀
But you’ll keep scrolling on from this post, go back to your routine of being worried about work, or school or uni and ‘figuring it out’ when really, there’s no answer. This is it. And the best part is, that’s the liberating part of the story x
