I really wanted to make it as simple as possible to contact me because, personally, I hate it when you can’t find a phone number or email address for a business!

So, if you’re new to my page, you’ve probably had a nose around, seen what I do and now you’ve found the important bit, how to actually get in touch.

I design all sorts, create content, sort branding, manage socials and quite often take the β€œI’ve got this idea but I don’t know what to do with it...” messages and turn them from an idea into a concept!

My contact details are below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. (Just remember it’s only me behind Jolly Peach, so sometimes that might take up to 24 hours.)

Scrolling through social media and I swear if I see another of these posters!!!!! πŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒ

Let me tell you something. Your AI flyer has 7 fonts, 14 icons and absolutely no idea what your brand is. I'm not anti-AI. I use it too for efficiency when it comes to organisation and prioritising lists and I completely understand why businesses use it when they need something quickly.

What I am against is pressing generate and calling it done. I've seen flyers and posts missing dates, locations, booking details and sometimes any clear indication of what they're actually advertising. If it's missing all of that, then what's the point?!

If you're going to use AI, train it. Give it your branding. Tell it what you do and don't want. Check the information. Remove the squiggly, hard to read fonts and random icons and PLEASE actually read it before you send it out into the big wide world!

If you don't know how to get AI to create something that actually looks like your business? Ask me (although I'd obviously rather design it for you. πŸ‘€)!

AI isn't the problem, but using it lazily might be. It doesn't reflect AI badly, but it reflects your business badly.

If you've opened your A-Level results today and still have absolutely NO idea what you want to do with your life, please read this...

At school, I definitely wasn't sitting there with a five-year business plan thinking, β€œOne day I'll own a marketing business.” I went to sixth form and chose subjects I actually enjoyed, including sport and media, then went on to the Fashion Retail Academy to study a Level 4 Diploma in Fashion Retail with Marketing & Business. At the same time, I was working my first job at Topshop, where I eventually worked my way up to Team Leader and was lucky enough to have some great bosses along the way.

From there, life took me somewhere completely different. I started working at GoSkydive, realised I could use what I'd learnt in media to edit skydive videos, started getting involved with the marketing and spent nearly seven years there learning SO much. Eventually, all those seemingly random bits of experience came together and, at 26, I started Jolly Peach Marketing. πŸ‘

Did I have any idea that was where I was heading when I opened my results? Absolutely not. πŸ˜‚

So if all your friends are heading off to university and you don't want to go, you don't have to. If you DO want to go, amazing. If you've got your dream course lined up, brilliant. And if your current plan is β€œenjoy the summer and figure it out later”, that's okay too.

You don't need to study business to eventually start one. You don't need to have your dream career picked at 18. And you definitely don't need to follow the same path as your school friends just because theirs looks more figured out than yours.

I think you get so much from being willing to try things, work hard, learn as you go and follow the things you genuinely enjoy. One job can lead to another, you can discover something you're surprisingly good at and suddenly you're heading in a direction you never could have planned.

Results day can make everything feel VERY final when you're in the middle of it, but it really isn't.

Enjoy your summer. Try things. Travel if you're able to. Meet new people. Follow what you enjoy. Change your mind if you want to. And don't panic if you haven't got a clue yet.

Your path doesn't have to look like anyone else's. Please just do you. πŸ‘

WE WERE ON A BREAK! πŸ‘€

Okay, Jolly Peach Marketing isn't quite entering its Ross & Rachel era (IYKYK πŸ˜‚), but I will be taking a proper break in September and for once, the laptop is getting one too!

I'll be out of office from 11th–28th September, including some much-needed sunshine in Dubai & Ras Al Khaimah, my birthday and a wedding before I'm back on the 28th.

I'm giving you a whole month's warning because I don't want anyone suddenly remembering that call they wanted to book, the design they wanted to discuss, the content they needed to send or that little "Gaby, can you just..." job two days before I go. If I'm currently sitting somewhere on your to-do list, now is the time to tick me off!

I'll be working through everything over the next few weeks to make sure clients are up to date before I go, so please send over anything you need from me.

'Think about it before you need it' apparently that's becoming my motto for everything this autumn. πŸ˜‚

Now, I might be magic, but I'm not quite "completely transform your business before Christmas" magic. πŸ˜‚

That's exactly why I'm bringing back my 'Ready for 2027' series and even earlier this year!

Since starting Jolly Peach Marketing, I've noticed the same pattern every year. Businesses would love a whole load of lovely ideas brought to life, but we're usually having that conversation in the first couple of weeks of December.

So, instead of leaving it until the New Year is just around the corner, let's get ahead of the game and create something you're genuinely excited to have.

πŸ‘ Got a newsletter that's been sat on your to-do list for months? I can help.
πŸ‘ Want your client proposals or tailor-made itineraries to feel a little more premium? I can help.
πŸ‘ Social media looking a bit tired, but you're not sure why? I can help.
πŸ‘ Been meaning to refresh your branding, business cards, flyers or brochures? I can help.

If you've caught yourself saying, "I'll sort that before January..." consider this your friendly reminder. I'd much rather spend the next few months creating something brilliant than trying to squeeze it into an already hectic December.

My top tip? Think about it before you need it!

You commented "HOOK" on another guide and someone promised you 100 examples to use...πŸ‘€

Now you've got them all sitting in your notes app, but if you're anything like most people you've no idea how to actually use them or no time to use them. It just sounded like a great idea at the time.

But if I told you, the 'hook' isn't what makes good content, it's what comes after it. Take this post for example, Ezra got you to stop. Am I right? It's actually the caption that's kept you here because that's how marketing works.

You might use a great hook, but it's what you write afterwards and the guide with 100 examples didn't tell you that part did it?

This weather has got me questioning everyone's priorities...including yours πŸ˜‚β˜€οΈ

If you're spending these sunny evenings trying to design a flyer, schedule next week's posts, think of content ideas or update your branding instead of actually enjoying them, I think it's time we had a chat.

The jobs on your to-do list aren't going anywhere, but the sunshine won't last forever. If you'd rather be making the most of the summer sun while someone else ticks those marketing jobs off for you, you know where I am πŸ‘

People decide within seconds if they trust your business or not.

Think about the last time you were looking for a product, service or somewhere to visit. How long did you spend deciding whether a business looked trustworthy? Probably not very long.

You likely looked at a few photos, had a quick scroll through their page, checked they seemed active and made a decision pretty quickly. We all do it.

That's why I'm always reminding people that trust isn't built by one perfect post. It's built by all the little things working together. Your branding, your content, your reviews, your contact information, your photos and how easy you make it for someone to understand what you do.

The reality is that most people won't spend time trying to figure your business out. If something feels confusing, unfinished or difficult to navigate, they'll simply move on. So the question is, if you discovered your business for the first time today, what would your first impression be?

Can I make content creation feel a little less overwhelming for a second?

If you're sat there wondering what on earth you're supposed to be filming for your business, stop trying to reinvent the wheel. The next time you're scrolling Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or Pinterest, pay attention to the content that makes YOU stop. Not to copy it, but to understand it.

What caught your attention? Was it the angle? The movement? The way it was edited? The close-up detail shots? Most content isn't successful because it's revolutionary. It's successful because it's put together well.

Once you start noticing those patterns, you'll naturally start filming differently yourself and suddenly content creation feels a lot less like "what should I post?" and a lot more like "I've got loads of ideas"!
