In addition to my previous post, I wanted to broaden my creativity and took inspiration from one of my friends album covers and decided to do the thriller album as a whole.
When creating this I wanted to focus on having the outfits to the performed songs.
In reality this wouldn't be possible as most of the photos are from the Jacksons 1984 Victory Tour.
However, for creative reasons I found the photos used to be perfect for the album cover.

Recently I've been collecting vinyls for my record player.
My most recent find is a 7" Beat It single.
I found the cover to be very bland and simple and thought it seemed very disconnected from the video and performances.
At that I used various Photoshop tools in order to create my depiction of the Beat It single cover.

This is a fun quick activity for any beginning graphic designer. This task can take anywhere from half an hour to 2 hours depending on how much you want to add and create.

For my college work experience, I have to work as a photographer for the Santa's Grotto at Westliffe Community Centre.

I started yesterday and finish at 5.30 today, but it thoroughly enjoyed the 1st day and can't wait to be back later today.

For privacy reasons I'll only show the photos of me, my mate and Santa.
Keep in mind, most of these were lighting tests so they're abit dark.

Today I completed turning myself into a Funko Pop.
This was completed using Adobe Illustrator and Funko's "Pop Yourself" on their website.

I first created a template using their Pop Yourself function then imported that into Adobe Illustrator. I then drew round the limbs and clothing individually, changing the colour and texture where needed.

After this I added textures to things such as the shirt, hair and eyes in order to give it a cartoony toy feel.

Once the original version was completed I took feedback and added a fedora as an extra addition.

This is a fun task to complete for anyone interested in character design and graphic design and it can be done in a couple of hours.

All in all this took me 3 1/2 hours including the computer crashing for about half an hour πŸ˜‚
