Why I Don’t Sell Black Eyeliner 🖤

I get asked this a lot, but here’s the truth: black eyeliner can be harsh on most faces. It tends to make eyes look smaller, exaggerate fine lines, and draw attention to darkness or puffiness around the eyes.

As we age, softer definition is far more flattering. Deep black can look severe and dated, while softer tones like granite, aubergine, coffee, or moss (shown) add definition without that hard edge. They lift, brighten, and enhance - not overwhelm.

If you’ve never tried a coloured or softer liner, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Think modern, fresh, and subtly defined, eyes that look naturally alive, not overdone.

Why Networking Really Works (and an invite for you!)
I hear women in business say, “Networking isn’t really for me” — but here’s the thing: networking isn’t about selling, it’s about connecting. It’s about building relationships, having conversations and opening doors you didn’t even know were there.
The truth? People do business with people they know, like and trust. And the quickest way to build that trust is face-to-face, over coffee, in a relaxed setting.
That’s exactly why I’m hosting Connect and Collaborate – Women in Business Networking. It’s a friendly space for women to share what they do, support each other, and maybe spark a collaboration or two. No hard sell, no awkward pitching — just genuine connection.
