It’s always nice to collaborate with my friends at Readysalted in Newcastle. I teamed up with them again recently on a project for their client KoShape by creating the new branding while they built and developed the new KoShape website.

Brand update for Product Leaders Alliance.

Product Leaders Alliance is a community for senior product leaders who want to learn from peers, exchange real-world insights and strengthen the impact of product leadership.

The branding project consisted of a logo refresh, new colour palette, website design, brand photography, social media templates and a new look for their reports and slide decks.

Well that’s just about it for this year from Edmundson Design. I’d like to say a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my clients, suppliers, friends and followers.

Looking back through work over the last year, I’m pleasantly surprised by the amount of it, given the difficult circumstances a lot of businesses are currently facing and what has been a testing one for a lot of people I’ve worked with and spoken to.

Personally, 2025 has been a dreadful year from start to finish, and certainly one I’m looking forward to leaving behind!

It’s also an extremely tough time being a creative freelancer now - given the current business climate, the ubiquity of AI and Canva and other difficulties making it harder to gain regular clients and new work, or even just to be seen, in an extremely competitive industry.

Being an independent designer is an enjoyable and rewarding way to earn a living, but it can also be a slightly solitary business at times, so I always really appreciate all the emails, comments, likes, tweets and feedback I receive.

Thanks for following and all the best for 2026!
