Train – From Birmingham New Street Rail Station Central Lines services run every 10 minutes from New Street to Selly Oak station, with a journey time of 20 minutes. QED studios are a further 10 minutes walk from Selly Oak station. (See local area map) Bus – From Birmingham New Street Rail Station Service numbers 61, 62, 63 and 64 depart every 5 /10 minutes from St. Martin’s Queensway, adjacent to New Street Station, and the average journey time to QED Studios is 20 minutes. The nearest bus stop is opposite St. Mary’s Church in Selly Oak. Taxi or Train – From Birmingham International Airport Travel by taxi is recommended, with a maximum journey time of approx. 45 minutes at peak periods. The train alternative is a regular service from Birmingham International Train Station, adjacent to the Airport, to Birmingham New Street Station, then onward to Selly Oak, as above. Total journey time should be no more than 60 minutes, depending upon connections.
