Excuse the super pose in first pic - I was doing my best George Michael in his Faith era impression. A really fun night out last week with my gals - it was an evening of George sung by a very talented bunch. We loved it!

These pics got me thinking of Insta pose versus reality. The second picture captures ‘me’ way more than the first. I tend to shy away from direct to camera stuff on here - a general anxiety that I can’t shake - it can be hard to get personality across in pics and captions. Anyway this is a long way of saying perhaps the second picture isn’t the best ‘pose’, but it is more real and reminds me of a funny moment with my friends ❤️

What I wore this weekend. Not taking the sun for granted ☀️ and enjoying wearing my summer wardrobe. I picked up this preloved Jaegar jacket - in first picture -
on last week. Snapped it up practically as it got listed - the seller even commented how quickly I moved! I said it was so my style and couldn’t believe my luck! Admittedly I didn’t keep it on for too long yesterday but making plans for it on cooler days. Still loving the balloon linen trousers from last year.

Kept it casual for Sunday’s colour consultations. A fun afternoon with a gorgeous Mum and daughter.

A few holiday moments from our little break to the Suffolk coast. I actually ended up wearing my new balloon trousers (third pic ➡️) as the temperature was a lot cooler by the sea. Packed lots of high Summer stuff but didn’t foresee needing jackets! I’d love a blast of breezy sea air right now. This was one break where I could have done with several just- in-case options. Do you take everything but the kitchen sink away with you or travel light?

Still get all the joy from wearing colour.
Particularly liked the green shirt with red lipstick. They make each other pop. I hadn’t worn this green shirt in a long time - a preloved shirt from Arket via and forgot how much I love this green.

Same jeans, different day. Wearing the M&S palazzos a lot again lately but I love them. I was taking to my daughter about jeans at the weekend and how they can be troublesome when finding a pair that fit well. We have so many styles to choose from now though which makes it easier. Or does it? Do you find jean shopping easy?
