What a magical Monday it was at The Get Together event ✨️🤍

The event, exclusively for the beauty industry, always delivers a beautiful day of connecting and learning.

Loved 'The Beauty of the Brands' talk, reflecting on our relationships with brands we work with and use in our own businesses. I equally loved sampling the Beaury Brand Connectors portfolio of brands 🤍

🧴The fragrance of the products are devine, and I think I need to get me one of those UVP 50+ 👒

It's always nice to get away from the desk and spend time making meaningful connections, especially when it's the hottest day of the year (so far) ☀️

The bringing together of female entrepreneurs and business owners to share, support and connect. Together we learn, laugh and lift each other up because networking isn't all about doing business. It's also about getting away from your day to day and spending time with like-minded people.

The 2026 intake at .p.a.c.e is now open for applications, with two courses available for those looking to train as therapists/counsellors, or enhance their personal and professional development 🎓

We’ve just refreshed their social media graphics for the year ahead, keep an eye on their socials, or visit their website for more information and course applications.

I loved working with The Academy Space last year to reimagine their brand and website — one that highlights their outstanding courses while strengthening their online presence ✨

And on that note… we’ll soon be introducing a monthly graphics retainer 👀 designed to help clients keep their social media fresh and up to date. And we already have three clients on board 🚀

Spring has well and truly arrived and Aroundtown Magazine hit the streets last week just in time to welcome that big yellow thing in the sky! ☀️

As always, it’s championing the very best of South Yorkshire — from local charities and community groups to entertainment and events (and there are plenty to check out this Easter 🐣), plus sporting superstars and the brilliant businesses across our region.

It’s always a lovely magazine to work on, with a brilliant all-female team behind it Amber Stainrod 👏 I can’t wait to see what they have in store for the summer edition, but until then go grab a copy and support local.

With the shortest month, grey skies and too many deadlines behind us, here’s to March with more warmth and calm and a little less coldness and chaos 🌼

As bold as her photography. As cool as her couples. ⚡️

When we created the brand for Hayley Gell Photography, the goal was clear: craft an identity that speaks directly to her world – alternative, stylish, high-end weddings with personality.

Based in Sheffield and shooting everywhere from the Peaks to destination “I do’s”, Hayley’s work is relaxed, creative and effortlessly cool.

So we built a look that’s fun, fresh and playful with pastel pops, punchy black, retro typography and tattoo-inspired details.

And most recently? A reprint of her welcome brochure, because great brands aren’t one-and-done, they restock and stay sharp.

Confident, creative and a little bit badass.

Nothing like kicking off your 10th year in business with a fresh brand identity. ✨
That’s exactly what Emma over at Green Cross Podiatry did, complete with a brand new website to boot 🥾

Moving away from an overly clinical look, the refreshed brand strikes a balance between professionalism and approachability: fresh, friendly and reassuring.

It’s always a pleasure working with local businesses that genuinely care about their customers, and like any great Sheffield business, Green Cross Podiatry does exactly that - focused not just on treatment, but on education, wellbeing and people.

This is Me - Made to Design! 🎨
From leaving high school as Creative Student of the Year (A in Art, B in Graphics) to darkroom days winding film and dipping prints 📸🖤, creativity has always been my thing.

I studied Further Education Graphics alongside Art and Photography, then went on to a Higher Education qualification in Graphic Design. My first role was as a junior designer and over a 14-year agency journey I grew into a senior designer. Learning, levelling up and leading.

Eventually I took the leap and set up on my own, now at Sheaf Design Works, I get to pour all of that experience (almost 22 years) into helping local businesses with clever, considered design that works. 🚀

It’s crazy to think this is all I’ve ever done, everything I’ve ever been (aside from mum, wife, runner, gym-goer, gin-drinker… you know, life 😂) and I still absolutely love what I do.
